Treyarch absolutely cooked with this game. This game might end up being the best COD of the last 10 years honestly. Sure, it had it's problems no doubt, but the fun factor and the innovation on display here and the meat shield with VOIP is just proof this game is gonna be awesome.

Even cooler is that you apparently can see bullet wounds on the body when you kill them. I think I remember getting shot and saw I had bullet wounds on the shoulder where I was shot.

to be fair, you can stick with one developer and then only have to buy a new one every 3-4 years. still, the games are full of microtransactions so thats my biggest complaint, but im also not big on pvp shooters anyway so i mostly just play treyarch games for the zombies
@@redcherry8137there's already an option in settings to disable the feature. But I fully expect it to be removed. Weirdos and VC will never go hand in hand and I've yet to meet a legitimate modern COD fan who does not fall into that category.

Yeah usually in the beta the balancing is weird, like in CW I think the 74u was busted but in the actual game it was about an equal playing field, yk? Kinda what the beta is for, I think
Tbf we're looking at an early build that doesn't even have most of the content. The attachments don't show cons yet and some, you you can't even unlock because the guns haven't been added. The Squish character skin is holding an M60 that we can't even see elsewhere. Definitely hoping they can polish the issues out on the dev build by October as well.
I don’t think we knew how good we had it tbh. Go load up the og MW2: you will feel whiplash. There’s no Battle Pass bs, no nickel-and-dime MTX, no wacky character skins. Just soldiers who look like soldiers running around the maps. Here’s maybe the most impressive thing: the voice lines from that game are still used in meme culture to this day, that’s how you know it was an important game. “ENEMY AC-130 ABOVE” Just a really tight shooter.
What I enjoy about the alpha stage of a cod game is that no one is trying super hard, the best weapons haven’t been identified yet, everyone is on the same boat aside from being better at the new movement system.
You must be protected from SBMM because I've had most of my games being Jackal sweats. I'm not even bunny hopping or anything either so I just have been laying sideways on couches and dying so I can get some lobbies where I can actually use the other guns
Ill wait until the next cod game releases to try bo6, that way most of the sweats move on so the matchmaker is forced to give you chill casual matches more often 😂😂
Fuck this actually looks great. So many good ideas and improvements that are long overdue. The omni-movement is a stroke of genius that looks fun as hell to use, and enemies don't fall down in the same 5 animations when you kill them now I always thought shooting enemies, especially in campaign, felt like shooting through paper targets with canned death animations, save for the occasional goofy ragdoll from an explosion. This isn't that. The shooting and gunplay looks tight, weighty and dynamic, the guns actually sound like guns, and little features like an actual health bar appearing when you get hit just make sense. I really might buy a COD game on release for the first time since MW2019.
I've played the beta up to max level 20, and can easily confirm everything you said. For me personally, it has been a lot of fun as well as refreshing to see a properly developed cod game (considering they worked on it for four years). The maps are also great as well- you have plenty of alternate routes you can take to avoid snipers and do some serious damage with wide flanks, etc etc. Also the maps being original is another plus in my book, even though the beta only gives you access to a handful. We won't know how great all the maps are till launch, but all in all- it's a fun fps game that I'd highly recommend to you and others interested as well 👍
@@and3xghost895 I feel like they might up the level cap, maybe to reveal some secret rewards- but idk. I'll definitely still play the beta though, right up until it closes. Best thing ever would be if they extended the time for the beta

wish the beta was available for people who didnt pre-order, i'd be willing to give it a try and see if its worth my money. usually i dont like pvp shooters but this one looks genuinely quite fun, i just dont wanna waste 80 dollars (canadian) on a game i might just hate
Exited for call of duty is wild. They added a couple of features that should have been stansard issue 10 years ago, then copied and pasted the rest from Cold War The past 3 call of duty games was them re attempting what they dramatically failed
Cold War 2.0 I'm actually enjoying this Beta, maybe because I didn't have to pay Call of Duty $100 to play early. Hopefully this year they give us round based zombies.
