He didn't expect that because samantha is the zombie leader and doesn't want the world to know about the zombies so she makes a surprise attack in the Pentagon
@@therandomshow8708 no it’s because zombies were known in the high governmental officials, the US tried to use zombies too and they got out from confinement so he knew that zombies were attacking
i know this thread is semiserious but i meant his ingame quotes. Some of them are word for word what he said in speeches and others aren't even his. "Our capacity to retaliate must be, and is, massive in order to deter all forms of aggression." - John Foster Dulles that's one example
The funny part is that JFK beat Nixon in his first term running for president. After JFK was assassinated his Vice President Ford took over. Ford was replaced the LBJ who then lost to Nixon. Since this game was set when JFK was president, Castro didn’t know that eventually Nixon would win
Andy Dean LBJ was Vice President to JFK, he completed the rest of JFK’s first term and also went on to a second term as president, Richard “Dick” Nixon won the next election after LBJ’s 2nd term and was in office for 5 years until the Watergate scandal forced him to resign to avoid being impeached. Gerald Ford was Nixon’s Vice President and he went on to finish Nixon’s second term and lost to Jimmy Carter in 1978.
Fun fact: Fidel Castro was the only person from Five who was alive when black ops 1 came out in 2010. McNamara nearly saw the game’s release but died in 2009
Red He needlessly elaborated a transparent quote in such pointless detail that it was necessary for me to say , and therefore repeat again , Who asked?
@@voidsabre_ i was just joking around how he said pay instead of pray (or they did until he edited in). I felt like a jerk so I removed everything but still.
When I was younger and didn’t really give two shits about history, I didn’t care much for this scene. Now that I’ve matured, and know more about history, i’ve come to appreciate this scene a lot more.
thats why rated M for mature means something besides " its violent!" it takes a certain level of maturity to understand the history for example in WaW the historical importance of the events in that game are heavy but if youre young you might miss that. im not saying youre at fault if youre young and miss the importance that a more mature player might get im just trying to say that rated M for mature makes alot sense now looking back at the difference between when you were young vs now being older.
Imagine if this was the only video of JFK, Nixon and Castro we ever had. Or we somehow Mandela effect everyone in the future from the past with this clip.
Kalapana_ then I don’t get what’s funny about it. I assumed he thought JFK was calling him dick as an insult (so he didn’t realise that dick is short for richard) rather than as the shorter version of his name, which would be funny but isn’t the case
JFK: "For time and the world do not stand still. Change is the law of life, and those who look only to the past, or present, are certain to miss the future. I said, are certain to miss the future." *Slams desk Castro: *Laughs "Coño, I missed that." McNamara: *Stands and walks toward Castro "Prime Minister castro, this missle crisis was the last straw. We almost blew ourselves up. Now, we invited you here today-" JFK: *Interruptes McNamara "In good faith" McNamara: "In good faith, to sort this thing out." *Returns to his seat Castro: "And why is he here?" *Points at Nixon *Throws arms in the air "He lost" Nixon: *Shrugs JFK: "As I always say, forgive you enemies, but remember their names. Now gentlemen, as I like to think, in the long history of the world, there are only a few generations-" Nixon: *Stands up and Interruptes JFK " Sounds like someone breaking in!" JFK: "It's just the storm Dick." *Motions downward with his hand "Sit down." Nixon: *Sits down *Zombies scream and then break through a glass window *All characters stand up Nixon: "Oh my God!" *Flails arms McNamara: *Spreads his arms outward in front of the president "It appears the Pentagon has been breached." JFK: *Pushing McNamara's hand down "Zombies. Gentlemen, in times like these our capacity to retaliate must be, and has to be massive, to deter all forms of aggression." *Turns around and smacks the wall causing it to spin, revealing an arsenal of firearms "Gentlemen" *Turns to face the other characters "Lock and load" *Fade to black as the clicking of many guns is heard Castro: "Viva la revolución!" *The characters begin to form a parallel line while pulling out weapons Castro: *Puts Cigar into his mouth McNamara: "Any last words, Mr. President?" Nixon: Yes, Jack, any superlative words of inspiration for our humble troops?" JFK: *Streches neck and proudly puffs his chest out "Do not pray for easy lives my friends, pray to be... stronger men" *As he says this color is slowly added to the scence *McNamara pumps his shotgun, and Nixon raised his akimbo HS10's
@super man honestly it was for me to be able to copy and paste it so I could just drop that into any conversation I'm having, but having it here instead of in my notes let's others do the same
@@JohnnyJohnnyJohnnyJohnnyJohnny In the last part says "Any last words, Mr President?" And "Yes, Jack" but you wrote "Any last words, Jack?" and "Yes, Mr. President"
I love how he continues his speech even though literally zombies are breaking and knows exactly what to do even though thE others are like WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK
"Ok so JFK, Nixon, Castro, and McNamara are having a meeting about the Cuban Missile Crisis when BAM! ZOMBIES! With no where to run, JFK opens the secret weapons cache in the meeting room as all 4 arm themselves to fend off the zombie onslaught."
Bet 99.999 % of Kids thought Fidel Castro was a U.S Army Officer, but when you realize its a Communist, a Badass and Sassy President, and a sore Richard Nixon Working together it is just fucking hilarious and awesome
John F. Kennedy: For time and the world do not stand still. Change is the law of life. And those who only look to the past or the present are certain to miss the future. John F. Kennedy: I said, 'are certain to miss the future'! Fidel Castro: Coño... I missed that. Robert McNamera: Prime Minister Castro, this missile crisis was the last straw. We almost blew ourselves up. Now we invited you here today... John F. Kennedy: In good faith! Robert McNamera: ... in good faith, to sort this thing out. Fidel Castro: And why is he here? He lost! John F. Kennedy: As I always say, forgive your enemies, but remember their names. Now gentlemen, as I like to think, in the long history of the world, that there are only a few generations... *sounds of banging on the door* Richard Nixon: Sounds like someone breaking in... John F. Kennedy: Just the storm, Dick. Sit down. *zombie breaks through a window* Richard Nixon: Oh my God! Robert McNamera: It appears the Pentagon has been breached. John F. Kennedy: Zombies. Gentlemen, at times like these our capacity to retaliate must be and has to be massive, to deter all forms of aggression *hits the wall and it shows a hidden wall of guns* John F. Kennedy: Gentlemen, lock and load! Fidel Castro: Viva la Revolucion. Robert McNamera: Any last words, Mr. President? Richard Nixon: Yes Jack, any superlative words of inspiration for your humble troops? John F. Kennedy: Do not pray for easy lives, my friends. Pray to be stronger men. For this is a land not devoted to crime and punishment. No. This is a country devoted on liberty and freedom. When everyone else has given up, we will be standing tall and firm. This new enemy will not beat us, for this enemy, as relentless as it is, does not have the teamwork, the courage, or the determination to live, unlike us. We are human, but that doesn't mean we can be living in fear. We make our own fear. This enemy is not our fear. We are its fear. They may not stop their relentless attack, but we will not stop defending. When we run out of ammo for our guns, that does not mean we should give up hope and let the enemy consume us. Make us one of them. It means that we should have bravery, and strike at our enemy, not with guns, but with our courage. When we have no ammo for our guns, or explosives to keep them back, we fight back with tooth and claw. We fight them with sword and shield. In this new world, we make our own rules. The enemy does not rule us. We rule them. If anything, they control only their want to be freed from this world. And we bring it to them. For we will not back down and go quietly into the night. We will strike at their hearts in broad daylight. Soldiers will fight them in the streets, while ghosts hunt them at night. We will fight for our freedom. They cannot take that away for us. We will fight them in the streets, in the ally ways, in the sewers even. We will fight them wherever they hid. We will fight them day and night. We will fight until every single one of them are gone from this world. If they wish to relentlessly fight, then we will relentlessly fight back. This is not just Canada, the United States of America, or Mexico. This is North America. We live through the harshest of winters. We have people that are inexpendable and experienced, even if they are on the wrong side of the law. We fight with fire and metal. We will fight until our last breath. We will even fight Death if need be, for we will not die young. This is our fight, and we won't back down.
Would be interresting to have a Zombie mode where you start out with that armory, you can pick whatever you want and the whole objective is just to survive.
