Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Countdown Mission Walkthrough (No Commentary) 

bro i swear this campaign gave me a headache, there were so many points where i questioned if they even playtested the john, LIKE HOW TF IS THE CHECKPOINT GONNA RESPAWN ME IN FRONT OF GRAVES TANK AS HE SHOOTS ME

This was one of the most annoying missions, that part where you don’t have any weapons and your suppose to somehow take out multiple half juggernaut armored enemies is wild to me 😂

When you fall down the elevator shaft and lose your weapon I was like ok...well I gotta have my pistol right? Nope. Alright fine, but you're telling me a tier 1 operator veteran badass like Soap isn't gonna go into a mission with a combat knife strapped to him somewhere??? Like come on IW just absolute bull, completely ruined an already sort of frustrating campaign by making me run around a tiny room with nothing but my shlong in hand while 3 jugs 2 tap me on sight.

To all the veteran difficulty people…. I feel your pain…

Beaten every souls game. This cod was more difficult to get through than any of them.

Dude honestly these bullshit sections where you have to run around and build random shit completely ruined the campaign for me. I was so frustrated the entire time and it took me so goddamn long to pass these sections. Ruined any enjoyment and I couldn’t even care about anything in the actual story. Total joy killer

That running around looting and crafting is the most disgusting thing ever, the ALONE mission and COUNTDOWN. Them just killing time

So that last bit doesn’t make any sense. They shoot you constantly as you’re running around finding scrap but, as soon as they drop their weapon they have 3 bullets in the clip.

14:47 Love this parallel from the other game. These two are great. On the other hand for the whole missile part where you gotta run away, I was playing on Veterans Mode. It was more hilarious than hard to do. Just running away from them after they see my Scottish ass hiding in a corner was humorous for some reason

For those stuck on the tank, follow this. Rush the different buildings, use smoke grenades if you can. Grab the C4 and run upstairs to the roof. Go prone to avoid the tank…in my experience, the enemy npc would never follow me up stairs. You’ll then wait until Graves drives by you in the tank. Throw the C4 on the tank, go prone and send it. Repeat this 3 times for the fireworks. Good luck.

this was so hard on veteran i switched to recruit and it made no difference like how did AI get so advanced

Playing on regular difficulty and died so many times. Oh boy veteran is going to be so much fun. I think the missions "alone", "Ghost team" and the "Countdown" are the parts I'm going to have trouble with.

My guy literally has a combat knife in the cutscene after the fucking crafting bullshit. 🤦‍♂️

Normally I beat all the COD games but this one I’ve thrown in the towel lmao the last mission is a pain in my ass 😂

Overall the campaign plot is better than 2019 but the gameplay of Violence and Timing as well as this mission's finale is just a game breaker, overall a 7/10.

Mission HACK: Hide under the long table near windows after crafting your first shiv, knife one guy, get his gun (3 bullets - not ready for fight) … find another shiv in a drawer you have to pry open. Go back under the table and wait for the next guy. Knife that guy and it’ll advance you forward. Only have to knife 2 guys to progress!

The last part was pain in the ass but a quick tip for everyone. The little room with the hole is like a "safe zone" I don't think the troops will come look at you there so you can lurk in peace and wait for the perfect moment to do whatever you need. Second tip: Smokes are your best friend when stabbing the enemies or trying to open the locker. I wasted maybe 30-45 minutes just because I was struggling right after I deactivated the missile

I'm soft-locked at the end part on Veteran when you don't have weapons and have to arm the bomb. I've managed to arm it but my checkpoint starts me off in the corner of the room near an area with a microwave. As soon as the checkpoint loads there are two guards on either side of the two directions you can go and I die instantly.

I didn't know you could jump on the rappel parts until today. Just gives this mission even more Ghosts vibes

First minute of the game you play as Ghost last minute you play as Ghost.

Bro, the moment that Ghost hit Hassan with that sniper, I was like, "Boom, bitch!"

I have to say this "soap has no weapons can you construct some sort of rudimentary lathe?" scene is both the dumbest and most annoying scene in the game. For me the campaign will remain forever uncompleted because its just to annoying to play though. Dumb AF.

They could of made this mission way better by turning the lights off the building and allowing the player to navigate the building usings NODs and give us a clean house mission.

I did not enjoy this fucking last bit…like what’s the point? They’re making this game into die hard. Way too much stealth elements at a point it’s so unrealistic. The story and character overall are good, but the gaming part just sometimes sucks

This mission on veteran was not play tested. Lazy development. Has to be near impossible on Realism mode. All that running around, jumping around like you’re playing warzone does not work on the hard difficulties. Shit is stupidity.

Hassan: “You target and kill the unarmed from afar, like cowards.” Me: “Says the guy who’s running away instead of facing death like a man.” Hassan: “How dare General Shepherd point his trigger fingers at my great nation. Sending his missiles to kill my people. Now his missile has come home.” Me: “The missile is already destroyed Hassan, you failed.”

This is the most nonsensical mission I’ve ever experienced in a game before lol The peak of the mission is you running around an obstacle course in a box with a laptop stuck in your hand and no weapons. Laswell recites her dialogue painfully slow so you can’t finish your task in a timely fashion. You’re expected to scavenge while avoiding rubberbanding enemies that all have armor on. Why couldn’t they just keep the knife on soap so at least he can jab the enemy before he gets shot to death? This isn’t even challenging. It’s just lazy game planning “Let’s make this mission so difficult they’ll have to spend hours on it. It doesn’t have to be logical. Just make it brain numbingly insane.

Using Marine Raiders for a mission like this wouldn’t make much sense, the FBI HRT or Delta Force would have been the ones to respond to such a scenario. And thus making this mission a huge missed opportunity to bring back Team Metal from the OG COD MW2.

I have been playing CODs for almost 2 decades, and the part to open missile controls is my worst experience in this series EVER.

I thought it would be easy so I put it on a harder mode and and console was almost broken

I wish I had armor piercing rounds for the armored guys. Those guys suck up close.

I’ve reached this mission after a full day of playing and all I have to say is this is by far the worst campaign I have ever played in my life. As far as MW2 goes the only game type within the game that I really enjoy is DMZ. Everything else is so repetitive and just not fun at all.

You can find a door that i think is in the middle where you walk around in a circle where you can find a bunch of tools to craft weapons

I really hate this “find materials” and build a weapon. If I want to build a weapon I play Tom Clancys Wildlands. I really hate these missions.

I hid in that computer room or whatever at the very last mission where you gotta build stuff. Then I stunned him with smoke bombs, but make sure you get the razor first because that is the checkpoint. It's so hard to figure out the algorithm, but that seem to work and this is the least fun call of duty modern warfare I've ever played in my life sorry people justnumber three but number three was way better please comment if you feel to disagree or agree

Hi best way to do it is hide in the restroom. Find the restroom hide in there get on the wall on the toilet nobody will get you there. Will just continue to hit the wall.

Love the game and campaign but this last mission from right after soap fall through the elevator shaft and loses his weapon and has to run around and make weapon and duck and hide ....that last part is stupid AF...... whoever thought of that ran out of ideas.... 🙄

For the longest time I thought you had to kill the two soldiers at the end without dying to Hassan but all you had to do is nothing I reset the checkpoint so many times and I was questioning if it was even possible but you had to get shot I was at it for 2 hours trying to figure out how to kill the last guy without getting shot but your supposed to fml

This campaign is weird I’m trying to complete on veteran but then it almost feels like it’s constantly changing from veteran, realistic and regular. 😭😭😭😭 they rushed the campaign and now I can see all lights in every mission and I’m not even in same room or in the area
