I heard a story from a guy that worked on an AC-130. He said that during a live firing exercise an inspector scanned the air and found dangerously high levels of lead in the interior of the gunship. These guys were just sucking it in as they were working. They told them that they should be wearing respirators while flying but they didn't listen for what ever reason. Apparently guys would just join, leave the team then get sent back home often due to lead poisoning and PTSD. An AC-130 might be the safest place from small arms fire, but you'd be surprised to hear about all the sh*t guys had to go through while working on one of these things. The Gunship was literally a lead filled gas chamber. The crew members in the story would even often joke about how the Gunship "Flew on cancer". Kind of makes you think about what kind of stuff the Government seems to not really care about.
Not at all - one of the main reasons I made it. I always found types of 'white-noise' coupled with speech relaxing. Is even better at the right volume under a pillow where the speech becomes muffled.
@@galaxyzeinz7209 not weird at all... in real life these guys catch shut-eye when they can... you KNOW they sleep to it. I love hearing people talk while I sleep or go to sleep. You’re not alone.
The amazing thing about videos games is, being able to feel so important, and having such a high impact, truely hijacks our deepest passions and obsessions in life, even though it's a just pixels in a screen, i can't explain the feeling of importance and responibility for your team when commandeering an AC-130.
