You are wrong, it’s not specifically the Soviet national anthem. It was used during the time of the Soviet Union, but when the U.S.S.R fell, and Russia became the Federation of Russia, they kept it as the national anthem. So as of now, it is officially the Russian national anthem.

@@hamptonoliver5247 false. The K98k was produced by Mauser, Sauer, ERMA, BSW, Steyr, Gustloff and more. While early K98bs were converted from Gewehr 98s, they were later purpose built to the new configuration and were a new model. They were not a variant of the Gewehr 98.
Well if you're talking spinoff kar98's then yeah that's not Mauser but I was talking about the original ones from WW2. After a Google search I couldn't find much difference between the 98b and the G98. You also said that 98b was converted G98. If you could point me to a website that says it's a different rifle and not a version that would be appreciated.
@@hamptonoliver5247 those were produced in Germany or under German oversight in or after 1935. It took me one wikipedia search to look this up or two minutes to look into my library. Whether you want to consider the 98b a version of the Gewehr 98 is really a matter of perspective but considering that a) it has a completely different name (and is thus not nominally linked to the G98) b) received greater changes in its configuration than the G98 had received in its previous 20 years of service life and c) other long barreled 98 rifles are not afaik considered variants of the G98 I would not consider the K98b a variant of the Gewehr 98 although they are obviously very similar.

@@Sheikah_Architect I personally have this theory that firearm companies might not want to let videogames use real life gun names because they don't want their weapons to be associated with the murder of innocent civilians. They would probably prefer their guns to be used by and on military personnel only.
Just be sure to omit the "HK" part on some of those guns. Apparently it's a copyright strike if you did add it to the name, and it'll get you into all sort of legal issues. Ask any game developers, and they'll say the same thing.
If i weren't wrong, the M4A1 used in the game is actually RO933. It is hard to tell the differences between the 2 rifles since both are almost have the same shape (between MK18 and RO933).

@@mbtt7420 I’m pretty sure you can get a tax stamp for the SP5 and label it as an SBR so that you can put a stock on it (like the straight line one on the MP5A2) However, there are still stocks you can put on and still be able to classify it as a pistol.
You’re wrong. The indentation above the magwell is the standard large rectangle style and there aren’t rivet pins in the reciever. They did their homework and modelled an actual AK-47, not an AKM.
The "M19" is actually the frame of the new M17/M18 of the US Army's new handgun but with a barrel/slide that is too long to be an M18 but too short to be an M17. While yes you could technically just call it a P320 compact, its not quite due to licensing. the IMFDB website is a great place to find small discrepancies like what I just pointed out

I love the Kar98k because it shows how the end of the bolt would be punching your cheekbone since you decided to stay aiming down sights. You tend to miss most of that stuff with Bolt Actions since you get to stay aiming down the scope
The MP7 is made by HK, it was designed to compete against the P90 in armor penetration. The P9p was introduced because early body armor was on the civilian and black market and 9mm wasn't cut for armor penetration, so FN created the P90 to replace the UZI and MP5 that were being used by secret service agents. The 5.7x28mm round was very effective against soft body armor and wven lowrate rifle armor and bullet proof glass. However HK wasn't so very keen on losing their contract so they created the MP7 and 4.6x30mm round.

The P90 was designed as a PDW designed to combat body armor for vehicle crews, crew-served weapons operators, support personnel, special forces, and counter-terrorism units to replace the MP5 and 9x19mm. the mp7 in game is also based on the a2 variant (since it lacks a permanantly fixed foregrip) but its also been bastardized and hurt immensely and probably took a few hacksaws from the devs of the game
There’s quite a few things wrong here but some people in the comments have already stated them. Btw Koch is pronounced as cough without an “F” sound at the end. Coke is the American pronunciation but the pronunciation I stated is the German Pronunciation.
7:38 thats definitely not an MPX. The MPX doesnt even insert the magazine through the grip, it looks more like a small chonky M4. Its not an MP7A2 either, the MP7A2 looks almost exactly like the MP7A1 aside from the pivot for the A1s folding grip not being there and a rail being put on the same spot. This "MP7" is definitely meant to look similar to an actual MP7A2, but from what i can tell its more based off of an old AEP airsoft MP7 imitation.

The AK is a direct Russian rip off of the American M1 Garand and the German StG 44. Every element of the firearm is stolen in some way, with the most notable being whole gas, ejection, and recambering system being a carbon copy of the M1 Garand

The AK definitely shares a lot of similarities with the StG-44, especially with some former Mauser engineers working on it, but it doesn't have many similarities with the M1 apart from both having a Long stroke Gas piston system (which the StG-44 and German G43 also have). So saying it's a copy of either the StG or Garand (or both) is just very stupid

The SA87 is actually an SA80 L98A1, and it's produced by Enfield, however H&K were contracted to fix some of the issues with the rifle and that's how the A2 variant came to exist, you can tell the difference between the 2 as the A2 pattern rifles have a different style cocking handle and a shield can be found around the magazine release catch

You can definitely tell that Omicron got some of the weapons wrong. Such as the MPX. that isn't an MPX. It's an MP7 and it's chambered in 4.6x30mm IRL. Also the French flag should've just been a white flag. interesting fact about the AK. It's manufacturer Kalashnikov, has made several models of the weapon that can be made from the base model AK and there's also several rifles made from basic framework and idea of the AK. such as the AK-103, AN-94, AEK-971, and VSS/AS VAL. Keep in mind that Kalashnikov doesn't own the VSS/AS VAL. That right belongs to Tula Arms Plant however it was made by Vladmir Kalashnikov in collaboration with Pyotr Serdyukov back during the 1980's. Same with AN-94, Kalashnikov doesn't own it. Izhmash does, and it was originally developed by Gennadiy Nikonov. The AK is as widely used as a base model for firearms just as the AR-15 platform is, though not as frequently.

The mk 18 rail on the m4 was actually developed by Daniel Defense. The mk18 mod 1 specifically was developed by NSWC (Naval Special Warfare Command) because seals wanted a shorter barreled weapon to clear houses and for close quarters combat but still fired the 5.56 cartridge.

The “EBR-14” is not an M14. It’s the Springfield M1A: SOCOM-16. That’s why it doesn’t toggle to full auto or come default with a full-length barrel or a 20 round magazine. Also, the M4A1 from this game seems to be the variant produced by Daniel Defense, for the 75th Ranger Regiment. So... It’s not just produced by the entire nation of USA.
Most brands are used by sports shooters all around the world. If you want to learn about what their military uses, look for the ones that I put a country flag instead of a brand name

@@weirdstuff886 The Steel Curtain blueprint for the AK is great, if you switch it to 5.45 mags it's pretty close to an AK-12. If you use the default barrel and stock attachments with it they become polymer instead of wood if you want a modernized AKM or AK-74M
For the sig, yes it is a p320, but they made 2 military versions of it called the M17 and the M18. The M17 for the Army and the M18 the smaller version, for the Marines.

MP7 in Game is not called sig sauer in real life, it’s just the mp7 made by h&k. The HDR does not exist in real life afaik, so it would be wrong to call it an armalite.
US Alpha it’s not. The HDR apart from looking vastly different compared to intervention, also uses a different ammo type (.408 or .375 Cheyenne Tactical in the intervention)

For anyone that doesn’t know 12.7mm is roughly the same thing as a .50. So to have a full auto .50 is pretty insane. I have a .50 Beowulf that’s full auto but it’s a short round
They are pretty close when it comes to power but they are very much different in dimensions and they will NOT fit inside the chambers of their respectively designed weapon systems. The 12.7mm is not considered a 50 unlike the 50BMG, 50AE, Beowulf etc. Just wanted to throw this fact in just so that potential readers don't get a wrong idea. Enjoy yout Beowulf :)
I was always under the presumption that the HDR was some super obscure Russian Anti-Material Rifle, I now know it’s not real, just like half the guns in CoD Cold War and the B&T APC9 in MW.
