yall waited and I delivered The way the sequence goes: - Tactical reload or Fast Reload Perk reloads are not included if they are repetitive animations of the empty ones. - Attachments are only included if there is a significant difference in the animation. - Guns from the same platform's attachment (ex. M4 Platform, Kastovia Platform) is not included if it shares the same attachment that was shown from the previous gun from the same platform. (ex. Did not include the extended magazine for the FTAC Recon which was shown in the M4 part.) full showcase coming soon.
i think it makes no sense for the reload itself, would make more sense on the reload empty. i'm constantly hitting r so it just looks weird asf seeing the guy constantly missing the magwell
@@ECHO-87 so no amount of practice would ever get you to stop that?? Literally doing it fine with 2 longer magazines on my glock right now.. I get it looks nice but I'd have kept it for the empty reload. Not something that you're gonna see most of the time.
I love all the little nuances with the extended mag reloads, especially how imperfect some of them are. The animations give a good sense of the added weight of the extended mags with the extra bumps and small struggles the operator has getting the mag in. And all of the animations are just amazing in general. Huge props to the animation team. Still amazed that they gave the Basilisk a unique animation for each number of spent casings.
I love how the player actually saves the unspent rounds when reloading the Basilisk instead of just dumping them all out. Also from what I've read, the player does the Iraqi Reload on the Kastov-74u even if it doesn't have a stock. Logic.
5 individual animations for all 5 bullets in the bailisk is next level in attention to detail, but somehow Infiniti Ward still can't count to 31 with most tactile reloads like battlefields can in the mid 2000s
the one in the chamber detail? probably balance since it doesnt really mean anything to guns like ars and smgs but it's a huge difference in others like pistols and sniper rifles
I agree with M4sked's statement that the game feels unfinished, but the game has only just come out and we can expect many updates to come! Always enjoy your content man, keep it up!
@@EvieCorwell Even MW2019 was *definitively* a finished product, bugs/glitches were pretty minimal or negligible, loads of maps with some (vanilla) NVG variants/loads of weapons with variants to turn them into/more than like 3 game modes and more. Prior to that though, we got completely finished games that had blood & sweat poured into them-like WaW or BLO1 or MW2-virtually free of bugs/glitches and rife with content, packed full of creativity and ingenuity and catering to loyal fans of the series . . .
Vanguard's compilation is a little more than 13 minutes, which includes every season. This video is about 15 minutes long. AND the damn game hasn't had its first season yet. Lord help everyone that's going to cover this game.
Glad you finally noticed the G3 magwell issue. Insurgency does it too, and its even more bizarre seeing as this game's G3 doesn't even have a paddle release.
This is one of the few examples of all the work and nuance these developers have to apply. All the animations and parts moving on the gun to make the operation feel strong, accurate, fun, and satisfying is not easy to do!
P90 is just butchered. They literally took the Area 51 blueprint from MW, altered it slightly and called it a day. Still don't like the rail sights till this day.
@@M4skedBoi from what I've seen playing with the gun I think the mag goes opaque during the reload and refills when it is done. That's what it looks like at least
@@EvieCorwell I played through Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 remastered less than a year ago. If they're similar to the originals, then you're 100% correct. The reload here looks EXTREMELY similar to the M4A1's reload from those games.
@@TheFirstCurse1 CoD 4 remastered changed very little about the animations. MW2R, on the other hand, did make some significant changes but the M4A1 got away with only a slight one, changing the button press on the bolt catch to a slap.
Operator when no Fast Reload perk: What is a slide release? I really love the imperfections with mag inserts. Especially that they made them without making the animation look clumsy or awkward.
Damn, son! Before watching the M14 part, I never saw the fast reload animation of it and wondered if they'd use the bolt release to charge the rifle. I guessed right it turns out.
3:25 here's the thing about vector/fennec, in first person it looks like the operator just dumped the mag for tac reload, but in third person you can actually see the operator keeping the mag.
If you know a thing about the real firearm, it’s a really hard gun to retention reload, which is why I think they didn’t do it with the animation. Where the mag release is and how it has to be actuated with the support hand, a retention reload would look very awkward, you can see garand thumb demonstrate this in his 2 year old video on the vector. It’s much more natural to just single rip and pull and insert 1 magazine at a time on the vector.
@@yuulb.alwright9920 what you describe is exactly what the person did, which is handling one mag at a time. The problem is from what we see, the left hand is absent after the mag release, which means the person just drops the mag to the ground and then replace it with a fresh one instead of saving the used one.
I like the modern take on the reloads. What I would appreciate a lot more is if they try to modernize the old reloads from 2009. Try to add the modern feeling to nostalgia.
While animations are great, I feel like the sounds aren't as metallic-y as in MW2019. As for weapon models, the fact they made the HK weapons less akin to real life compared to MW2019 is quite weird. (MP5 in MW was based completely on the real life one, the one you see in MWII is a HK94A3 which is a civilian variant). Probably the purpose was to make the game have more tactikewl weapons but most of the ones seen in the prequel were already like that.
I think my favorite part in mw2 is the new sound they have for loading shotgun shell in tubes.Massive improvement from 2019 wich was already pretty good.
There's a separate animation for the Bryson 800 if you fire and the reload before pumping that ends with the operator doing so. Like how the 870 did its empty reload if you hit the button before pumping, except now it's a different animation entirely since the empty reload doesn't use the pump. (Also I haven't tested but the same might be true for other manual weapons like the bolt action rifles.)
It will most likely be with Season 1. It'll be a weapon platform with the SIG MPX, MCX Virtus, and MCX Spear. The MCX Virtus is the "M13" from Modern Warfare 2019, while the MCX Spear is the army's new weapon.
With the amount of detail COD has, the lack of +1 in the chamber always bothered me. Like with everything else they did you’d think they’d include that.
What irritates me most about the belt-feds in this game, is that when firing, the gun spits out disintegrating links but on the empty reload the belt is somehow shown to be a non-disintegrating belt, with the MG338 being an exception. Otherwise, thank you for putting in the time and effort for this video
And we're finally back to the great sound design and animation quality in a similar vain to MW2019 and thankfully not the absolute train wreck that was the tin can fumbling of Vanguard & WWII
Suggestion for future commentary on gun reloads: put it in the upper left corner, so it doesn't block anything in the frame? Small change, could be nice :) Also: my headcanon is that IW tries to make their gun reloads realistic so someday you won't have any critiques to make on them lol
Letting your character just kinda... fuck up a bit when using larger sized magazines is a good design choice for these. Lot better control of how fast a weapon can be reloaded while still allowing the animation to look natural.
- Vector still looks cursed - For somehow they abandoned cool looking MP5A3 in 2019 and give us cursed civilian, butchered paddle mag released model - all shotgun still have not fast quad reload, all operator hand seem forcing only held one shell all the time by unknown force, heck they even abandoned cool competition reload - lazily add 3 restock M24 as DMR, Sniper, battle riffle and call it a day - somehow abandoned neat and clean Scar platform bolt released reload and lock in a fucking perk that almost nobody will use - Some canted mag is missing round and seem remain unfix
The game does has mixed reviews for the campaign and multiplayer and it's not made for everyone to love, and yeah there will will some hate towards the game but overall the game is pretty good from my point of view, the reload animations are satisfying [to me at least lol] and some parts of the game do feel unfinished and hopefully the devs will get around to sorting them out [which most likely they won't, but prove me wrong if they sort them out lmao] and M4sked, I love the content that you do, Keep it up :D
