Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is better than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023). 2007-2012 Cod golden years. After that it's just crap season passes, battlepasses, cringe cosmetics, sbmm, poor design & always online drm.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023) Review
Pros:
-Reduced visual recoil and muzzle smoke from MWII means you can actually see the target you're shooting now.
-Slide cancelling is back so that's a nice QOL feature.
Cons:
-Same COD different year. You can tell it's rushed. Stop with the yearly releases.
-Basically a Modern Warfare II DLC patch. $110/160 outright ripoff for maps MW2 (2009) maps that should've been put in MW2 Remastered multiplayer.
-Urzikstan Warzone/Ground War maps look straight out of Call of Duty: Mobile. How does a newer map's graphics look so much worse than Al Mazrah which came out the year before.
-Always online DRM & charging a Game as a service for full price for a game with singleplayer is fraud and should be illegal.
-Constant disconnects due to Always Online DRM.
-Battlepass is limited time only treating the game like a full time job.
-SBMM doesn't belong in any casual playlist. They should have a ranked playlist instead.
-UX/UI is appalling. Same crap from MWII.
-Ground war is a really cheap Battlefield Conquest knockoff.
-PS5 players get 10 days access. PC players get screwed over with 2 days.
-Why tf do you have to unlock stuff during a beta? Do you not want people to test things out?
