I do not own this song. It is owned by Infinity Ward and Activision. The original song can be found here: • Call of Duty 4 Modern ... Made the mix and video myself. Thanks for listening :)
Those first 30 seconds or so bring back so many memories. Takes me back to the days where my only worries were making sure I didn't get killed in this mission
Sneaking around wasn't that hard... But One Shot,One Kill was extremely hard if you play on hardest difficulty... If you don't listen to McMillan's orders, you would find yourself dead immidietly. No other mission in FPS games history gets even close to what I felt during that mission. And I played tons of FPS games. It was so chilled and so eerie at the same time. I really do want to visit Pripyat one day (in the safer areas ofc) and see what was left to rot.
Its very powerful. I’ve played this game, even as an Iraqi who had to escape Mosul. This is a very powerful video game. I can only imagine how many people joined the military because of this game.
Best lines in this mission 50,000 people used to live here now it's a ghost town Oi suzy Its like a bloody convention out there There's too much radiation we'll have to go around Tell me if I missed any
Ok now I could make a joke about MacMellon or “At this distance, youl also have to take into account the corriolis affect” But I think im going to actually right a paragraph about the genius that goes into the music, more specifically the french horn part at the beggining which should start around 0:50 idk im not going to check. So to start off I just want to explain the sound of it. The french horn soooo perfect for this. It has such a nice soft yet depressing sound. It explains a story of pain and sorrow and at the same time, excstacy. In the mission, the city used too be booming. But after the distaster of chernobyl, the town is a ghost town (:D). Everything is just completely overgrown. Nothing but the wild life lives there. Which could go with the music. The wild life and nature has been pushed out by humans. And ironically, the very creation that humans made, was the ultimate downfall for humans in the area. After the residents were gone, the nature moves back in. Everything is overgrown. Wildlife is having a come back in that area and are peaceful. The song just has such a nostalgic feeling to it, even though, you most likely were never even there. If you would like to add to it, by all means do so.
@@stormdesertstrike your soundtrack is just more focused on stealth and the danger that's hidden, it would be cool if your soundtrack would be in the different ghillie suit mission. But this one is more focused on the ghost town/nostalgia vibe. Sorry for my bad English, but i hope you understood me.
