*NOTE: - Did not count the anachronism. The game is set in whatever era now apparently and I don't even want to know when at this point. - I only counted the magazine being fictional or not. - Suppressor is, as I mentioned in the start of the video just pure BS. It can be fitted onto any of the weapons for some reason. - Let's just say the foregrip and removing the stock (except for some) is improvised, because that is possible. Unlike the suppressor or magazine where they need an actual precise machinery.

I love how they not only put a fucking F2000 into a fucking WWII game, but they didn't even bother to make the shells eject correctly. It has a tray offloading system so that the casings just gently fall out of the front of the gun, allowing the weapon to be ambidextrous and to not LITERALLY THROW SHELLS LIKE A REGULAR FIREARM.

That's actually how the F2K ejects its cases, there's an ejection chute that extends to the front, and for chamber inspection there's a small door on top of the receiver just behind the sight rail

I remembered when a gun specialist reviewed this game's most cursed weapon attachments onto a specific gun each and I stopped when he finished talking about an M1G with a Bipod and a drum magazine that featured a PING sound after the last bullet in the chamber. My god I thought the game was surely dead after he talked about that Abomination but it still lived on til this date. You have my respect my good sir.

I realized that the car design styles of the countries are very similar to their gun design styles. Italian is elegant, French is quirky, American is bulky, British is mid and German is just enough to function properly. (also good vid, I love the facts for the in-game guns)

Sad how there's none of the more standard issue guns/better known guns, here ⚰ lies the FG-42, SMLE (Ik it's in the campaign, but there isn't one in mp), M1903 Springfield, M3 Grease Gun, MG-34, Walther P38, Carcano M1891, Breda M30, Nambu Type 99, Beretta M1934, Beretta M1938, MP-28, M1 Carbine, M1941 Johnson, M50 Reising, MAS-38, FM-24/29, MAS-36, Sterling, and many others. Cause of death: Each season wasted on adding retarded weapons that never left the prototype stage, at this point the devs even added a laser gun and a modern assault rifle.

64-round drum mag for the MP40, but no dual mag system. Full auto for the Gewehr 43 and Mauser Selbstlader, but no AVT-40 or select fire experimental Garand. Batshit insane caliber conversions, but no Gewehr 43 chambered for 8mm Kurz with StG-44 magazines.

Vanguard is the most world war 2 game. You can shoot a gun, and you can die. 10/10 realism is on fleek. When we see this types of games, we think of masterpieces that perfectly portray the horrors of war. My best guess for why the EM1 is in Vanguard is that the next sledgehammer cod is gonna be back in the future and they put this in to tinker, or give a taste of what gunsmith would look like with futuristic guns, which is somewhat intriguing, but with how MW2 is changing gunsmith, this may have been in vain

You better hope they don't add weapons during MWII's life cycle. MW added the Makarov, the Skorpion, and the XM250 while Cold War was ongoing, and Cold War added plenty of new weapons during Vanguard's life cycle.

I really love the volk due to the ultra blueprint prototype 0084 except for the barrel cuz there is no recoil control which makes the gun harder to control due to the 7.92x39mm 45-round magazine which has minus 5 recoil control

1:14:50 With the detachable magazine, the Type 11 would make for a decent Star Wars blaster. That was one of the few good ideas DICE brought to their Battlefront games; with modern graphics they could really go ham with kit-bashing guns together into custom blasters. One note about the Type 11, while its ammunition hopper could be removed, it wasn't intended as part of the reload process and was way more complicated. It also couldn't maintain a continuous rate of fire, as there was a brief delay between stripper clips as it fed.

So upon looking back at some of the beta reloads, particularly the Thompson cause I might've recalled that the fast mags previously had 30 instead of 50.. And many other SMG fast mags also having decreased capacity.. I have also noticed that they kept the Thompson -open bolt- instead in the beta. Have we regressed in both game balance and knowledge.

You know, tweaking the guns for gameplay purposes doesn't really bother me at all, but it's the small errors that really irritate me. Stuff like giving the guns silly names, cutting up the rear sights for no reason, and hearing invisible cartridge casings being "ejected" from revolvers after every shot. That's ignoring the fact that they added a laser rifle and a 2000s assault rifle to a WWII game. I'm glad this insult of a game is over.

Silly names - Activision doesn't wanna pay the rights Cutting rear sights - Some look cool cut up F2000 and EX1 - If you're coming to COD, a game where some russian guy can single handedly get a tactical nuke with a British LMG, magically regen health, and gain abilities from the blood of his enemies, for realism, you should just give up and touch some grass, ngl

CoD Online had the "FA-1911" which was a full auto version with a spare mag holder and stock. Pretty sure at least one Battlefield game also had an auto-converted 1911 (Hardline, maybe? I don't remember). And that's ignoring how full-auto 1911s do exist IRL

One thing I don't understand is how Vanguard can't even follow its own internal logic. Why can you dual wield one type of break action revolver but not the other? Why can only one SMG be duel wielded and it's not even the one that would make the most sense to allow it on? How does a single drum attachment affect handling more than a double drum? Why does making the Becker Shotgun's cylinder bigger also mean it doesn't need to be manually rotated anymore? Even if you ignore actual physics and just look at what's in the game, there still is no reasonable answer to any of these.

For some reason, all the fast mags attachments in Vangaurd were updated to no longer reduce Ammo capacity, hence why the Thompson box mag now holds 50 rounds

I was playing cod ww2 once and my dad (a huge ww2 nerd) complained about using an stg44 while playing as a British soldier, saying that this game is incredibly inaccurate. I then showed him footage of cod vanguard. He died on the inside.

Does anyone else ever feel like the weapon recoil in vanguard starts before you even fire a round? Like especially with the full auto weapons, it seems like your weapons start producing recoil between the millisecond you pull the trigger, and before the rounds actually start firing.

The biggest question to me is why even make a World War II games if you don't want to make gameplay, visual design, or weapon design that would be restricted to the technologies and techniques of World War II? "I want to make a game that takes place in a desert, but there needs to be snow and I don't really want sand, honestly. Make a game in a tundra? No. I'm making it in a desert."

Vanguards story is Raul Mendez was in black ops 2 time and he got a time machine went to the future got a bunch of laser guns shipped it to modern time like 2020 got a bunch on f2000 guns and went back in time to the 40s and gave out laser guns and F2000s.

I actually googled the name of the arma because this is the first time I have heard of it and Wikipedia says it should have a respirocating charging handle, which it does not. The lf57 also has the mag at a 90% angle when it should have it angled forward a bit and the barrelshroud should also be circular. I guess that is what you meant by "the reliever is boxy" but more detail would be cool. I think the real thing looks so much cooler too! It is like a star wars ump When the papasha is converted into the pps43 I noticed it has the safties of nothing guns. Also, while they were both blowback smgs in the same caliber and similiar form factor, the parts are not interchangeable and the conversion is impossible.

And we diluted the initial Vanguard titles... 1:35:56 where the *FUCK* is the pipeline Checking some predecessors of the weapons: Brno-Enfield: -Arisaka conversion: Brno vzor 26 has Japanese copies, under Type 97 Tank Machine Gun -20 rounds: reverse conversion to 7.92×57 with John Inglis' Bren, despite using .50 BMG. Both magazine conversion have similar straight magazine model. G43: -Curved magazine was from Vollmer M35, though stylised. -Automatic conversion was using 7.92mm Kurz conversion, but with Mauser bullets -lesser known straight extended magazines?

@@JannickFarrellManuelOlii while for the vz 26, which vz 26 you were referring to? Brno Lehky Kulomet 26(light machine gun) or Strakonice samopal 26 (submachine gun)? Most likely Brno as you mentioned it along with Bren.
