Hello, everyone, and welcome back. This video is a little something that has been requested some time ago. Throughout my years on RU-vid, I have been reading many comments on my first zombies sound effects video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YdVsd1qodJE.html), and I can tell that some of you prefer the World at War Nacht Der Untoten zombie sounds over the ones from World at War Verrückt onwards and, more recently, Zombies Chronicles. I hope this video will please the many viewers who prefer the original sounds from World at War Nacht. If you do, please like, comment and subscribe whenever you can, and I will be back for more content. That will be all for today. Until next time, goodbye, my friends.
I love how unlike the newer zombies maps the sounds they make in this one are incredibly animalistic and have kind of a demonic feel to it because of that
Absolutely. Even though it's been over a decade since I first played zombies, something about Nacht zombies *hissing* at me from round 6 onwards is still so disturbing
@Kaiser Zcarr Samantha is the announcer throughout world at war and black ops 1 and controlled the zombies until in the map moon where a guy named Richthofen swapped souls with her which is why in black ops 2 the zombies have blue eyes instead of orange like in black ops.Nacht der untoten takes place before Samantha took control which is why they sound different and why there’s no announcer, she took control after verruckt.
for some odd reason this sound effect can be heard clearly no matter how distant the zombie is from you on the map whilst other sound effects fall off with distance
It's super nostalgic to play this map, and it's really fun when you return to it after a while, but since there are no players on WAW you almost always have to play it solo. Very creepy
1:07 don't tell me that that's not the scariest sound you've ever heard just like imagine a decomposing body running at you with that sound.....spooky.....
@@Randomperson-hl4di you wouldn't be scared if a dog was running full sprint at you while barking? Maybe you wouldnt be scared but now make that dog a rotting corpse and then add 20 more of them. If you say you wouldn't be scared then your either lying or stupid.
@@Randomperson-hl4di in my opinion it makes it feel like their less human (if you know what i mean) it just makes it feel scary that a zombie is barking at you
@@Randomperson-hl4di The reason of why it is scary, it's because imagine a zombie (A dead person who has no control of his mind AND his movements) just starts to make sounds that aren't human. It's scary for me and others, if it's not scary to you that's fine, i'm just explaining with i personally think it's scary.
The growls paired with the Nacht intro give you the idea you're not just running around shooting and having fun, but that you're surviving the threat that is searching to doom you.
He's saying "Get out! Help me! Please help! Need help!" They take some normal voice lines and distort them so if you think you hear words you're probably not wrong.
1:21 For the first few times I played I thought some sci-fi door was opening somewhere. Back when Nazi Zombies was terrifying and simultaneously a complete mystery.
I had a random nightmare a few years ago that I was stuck in this base and all the barricades had white tarpaulin covering them so you couldn't see out. All I could see were the shadows of hands trying to rip the tarpaulin down and all I could hear were the noises at 1:08 and 1:17 I woke up covered in sweat and couldn't get back to sleep
i used to have many nightmares like these, now my little cousin constantly has nightmares of Nazi zombies too, after i introduced him to it, i guess we've all been in this position
These are the greatest/creepiest zombie groans/sound effects I've ever heard not just in COD but in most VGs imo. These sound truly hellish vs the exxagerated high pitched shit they have in new CODS, it doesn't give off the same energy or level of intimidation, as a kid I was truly horrified when I started to hear these for the first time, but in general WAW was way more brutal/creepy than any other COD ever.
Have you heard Dead Space's necromorphs? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rHy4DNfxT6Q.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3CQG8jLFjow.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kxjDRGrQqUg.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jzuEp4xujhY.html
Nah the first zombie sounds sound too goofy and way too fucking funny xD i like the Hellish screaming...kinda relaxing if you ask me instead of a Zombie hissing at me like a Furry
fun fact, zombies got created because of an animatio nthey found when testing the fire animations on nazi soldiers, they found it looked like a zombie and tested out the idea borrowing a campaing level and adding vault animations to the zombies so it looked good and it was so addicting they brought it up to activision and htey agreed to make it a easter egg to see if it would be a great success
No, zombies was a creative decision by a couple of devs and they had to constantly argue with the suits at the top of the company and work overtime only for those same executives they argued with to take the credit and make it seem like they let it happen.
Could you imagine how much fucking scarier Verruckt would've been with these types of zombies sounds? That's saying something, because the map's already scary AF
Post-WAW nacht der untoten was the easiest map, the zombies needed to stop, so they could do their attack animation, so if you kept running past them, you couldn’t get hit.
But on waw getting Stuck to zombies is a big issue, so they would basically trap you and it’s funny because you can be surrounded, and just be sitting there for like 5 seconds before the zombies actually hit you and down you
Really miss when zombies sounded and acted like zombies. A lot of people complain about how grabby the zombies are in WaW, but it adds to the challenge, and, well... They're zombies. They want to kill you. Of course they're going to try to grab you to stop you getting away.
I love these zombie sounds, they sound more demonic then like zombies, it’s horrifying and till this day it scares me including the sound where the zombie is constantly barking
Since the zombies or the people before they became zombies are awake all the time but just can't control their bodies i believe they are trying to tell the player to get out
In the other games, the zombies are yelling all the time, but is kinda creppy that the original sounds are like more animal kind. They just keep the walk sounds.
These sounds made the Zombies seem less human which made them scarier cause the newer sounds can be recreated easily but some of these sounds just seem down right unnatural
Fun Fact: these zombies sound more realistic because they were not controlled by Samantha because Nacht takes place in June 1945 and she took control of the zombies in September 1945 1:12 Edit: On Nacht, you have no perks, no PAP, monkey bombs, no PPSH and no reinforcements
1:16 that shit is from hell and still gets me when trying to survive pass round 10 trying to get the raygun or a LMG it gives me chills down my back hearing that demonic low pitch scream
Vanguard zombies actually sound super good if u disagree I swear to god that ur playing vanguard on a fuckin toaster bc in vanguard they look fantastic and sound fantastic they sound like classic zombie’s almost bc treyarch worked on it and bo4 zombies sound pretty good to so ur jus hating on the franchise for no reason ur not a call of duty fan bc a real cod fan knows the classic zombies sounds and in vanguard is very similar so u don’t belong in the zombies community
I always thought these Zombie sounds were more effective and scarier, especially when you hear the Sprinters. I actually prefer these ones over the other sounds after Nacht, Black Ops and so on. They're just more effective and scarier imo.
