There's is certain protocol for every company like investigation. Besides the fact customer got empty box, they need to be given a time. How much ever you explain yourself, they follow their protocol.

It takes time to investigate the matter, customer should wait and keep faith with amazon, e commerce sites are designed for customers input only.. they will not cheat you, customer should keep calm rather than arguing with customer support

Have been through this situation but it's not customer support fault, yes we get annoyed at times but cs team does need time to investigate. For non returnable items when it's faulty or another product then cs team has arranged proper refund too, so try to understand the limits of cs team too. Few executives avoid transferring to their supervisor mainly happens with Flipkart so u can avoid Flipkart now as it's already sold. Happy shopping.
I work for Amazon Customer Service. When you report a lost or missing item, or something missing from your package, if they ask you to wait 24 hours while we investigate, it's because your account is marked as 'CAP - Concessions Abuser'. This means that your account has a very high concession rate because you are always reporting lost/missing items for a refund. So I already know you did receive this iPad, and just looking to score a refund because why else would your account be in CAP status if you are not a known concession abuser to Amazon? After 24 hours, you would have received a email for a police report. It's that simple, we don't trust you anymore. Ranting like that is also another giveaway. Customer Service can refund or replace any item immediately unless it is CAP status. You sold your self out to 2 million viewers that you are a thief.

We know you are frustated, but this is not the way to talk to a customer executive, as executive didn’t do this fraud. They were just trying to help you.
I get your frustration, but you can't take your anger out on the customer care. That is so wrong, and you have to wait for it the replacement. It takes time, they need to confirm if the case is real or not. If you want to go to the Police station, then go for it.
According to me Amazon is good but in the time of transportation, everything will happen,that's the problem,we don't get our products directly to us,so many post office,so many other places so in that time anything can happen

Amazon gave a very genuine answer, if it had costed 90k then he should have thought about it and should have gone to a retail store. And it’s always a better option to by apple products offline, tho Amazon is a genuine platform, it might be possible that it’s been changed in the middle of the product. Agar patahi tha ki apne city pe available hain toh apple retail store pe ya apple k online store pehi kharid leta na. 🙂
it's like of a hassle to do it tho apple store owners ask a billion questions and recommendations also they ask us to sign paperwork and other stuff which can't be done by an anti-social freak like me. I'd prefer online lol
This is really not the correct way to talk to customer care, they have their own roles and responsibilities in their job profile. Everything takes time to get settled, everything has their own process defined, it has to go through the process. The way he talked to lady customer care was very rude. She was trying to make him understand but he keeps on going on his own. Hate this man!!
This is not the way you talk to the customer Support. It takes around 24 hours for the investigation to be done, and in such cases it may take more than that for the team to investigate and revert. I as an employee at Amazon, would like to let you know that we have a particular policy and regulations that we need to follow. Just because you have a million followers and a huge fan base, that doesn't mean that you treat people poorly. These people in the customer support or backend, are doing this to earn their livelihood. A job of a customer support isn't just sitting in front of the system and listening to your bashings. Get that straight !

This is rude talking from customer..customer care people can't do anything if you shout at them..you should be explaining your situation calmly..they are not the one's who are responsible for the product mismatch
To avoid this type of issue, it will be quite better to open the product box in front of delivery boy and if any discrepancy, don't accept the product.
Bro, i can understand your situation, but the thing is that these guys too have some SOPs for such things and need to follow them. You can claim compensations for the time you gave and the harassment but they really cannot sort it out in a days time. Actually, this is even not considered a fraud done by Amazon coz it's just a middle man between the seller and the end-user.
