Called to the State of Angelic Dignity - The Gift of Religious Life 

Thank you for this...now I understand to walk a path of holiness I need to quietly endure the difficulties of life everyday.

The Franciscan life is so beautiful

I am 70 years old - never married although I tried with 2 prospect. I realize now the misery that would have been mine had either married me. I teach middle school students in a religious education class and I gently, briefly but firmly the joy for those who choose the religious life. I so pray daily for the religious I know that they would be faithful and also that Our Lady would remember those who should have chosen but alas, did not and yet so want to serve her and Jesus Her Son.

I'm 23, and Jesus personally called me to be consecrated to Him when I was 9 years old. However, my bishop says I need to want until I am 30 to be a consecrated virgin, but NOWHERE does it say that I need to be 30. Please pray for me, and if you have any advice/help I'd love to hear it.
