Calling Attention Kamat demands immediate augmentation of Shirvodem Sewerage plant 

PORVORIM: The non-augmentation of the Shirvodem sewerage treatment plant is creating unbearable stench and nuisance to farmers and causing infection to their feet. This issue was raised by Margao MLA DigambarKamat. Fatorda MLA VijaiSardesai questioned the over-zealousless of the Goa State Pollution Control Board for issuing notices to SGPDA market chicken for not using the sewerage network to dispose chicken waste. Sardesai said there was no sewerage pipeline in the SGPDA market and secondly chicken waste could not be disposed off in the sewerage pipeline. CM assured to look into the matter.
