I overlooked this video, I must have been guiding, once again great video! Them cows! lol They look so unpredictable! I think I'd be scared of them, lol Moose i'am used to but not them crazy cows!
Awesome,,it is hard to film and shoot coyotes. I had a pack screaming at me like you did but they never came into sight for me. It was fun but could have been better. 3 or 4 coyotes sound 10 or 12. lol
Super hard! The average guy can't do it! Lol! I struggled bad the first many hunts! But now better equipment and many hunts under the belt has made it better but by no means easy!.
Hey boss very nice hunt. It appeared to me that you clipped the first one high and he took off like a jackrabbit. You did cause some fur to fly however.
Thanks! And yes the way he dropped I didn't think he was going anywhere...he happend to be on the rise of a field so I didn't even see him get up and take off! He was on the backside of it!
I hate to be "that guy"... and I am glad that your hunt was successful......however.......... My family raised cattle. I hunted coyotes since 1972, with the last 25+ being with calling. So do not think that I am bashing you for hunting coyotes. In your shoes, on the ones you got on camera, they would have gotten a hard pass... given the proximity to the cattle. Just too much risk of the trajectory of the bullet being off ever-so-slightly, and accidentally injuring cattle. I know for a fact, that if I had taken shots that close to cattle, 90% of the landowners I had permission to hunt on, that permission would have been immediately withdrawn. Also, if my dad or I had ever had anyone shoot that close to our cattle, that hunter would have been told to never hunt our property again.
