CALLING TEACHERS BY THEIR FIRST NAME 

Someone in my French class, accidentally called my teacher “mum”. (Btw this teacher is famously mean in my school and prone to giving detentions) It took her a few seconds to decide what to say she replied “hello, my pretend son”. He was so embarrassed.😂😂😂

That moment when you have to say "yes sir" to your male teacher and instead you say "yes miss" *everyone looks at me* "oh wait sorry, yes mum" *everyone laughs* "oops, yes sir" *dies of embarrassment*

If I called my teacher by her first name, it'd be extra awkward, and also I'd probably get in trouble, because I'm homeschooled, so my teacher is my mom.

Well I mean this is actually fair This is payback for all those times the teachers called us by our last names when they were mad.

I called so many teachers "mom" over the years by mistake. My freshman year in high school, my math teacher wanted us to teach the class. When he played as a student, he allowed us to call him by his first name. When he back to being the teacher, we were on last name basis.

I accidentally called my teacher “mom” and she was like: “... I'm not adopting you”

So, I am a University teacher and sometimes when we have international students they call me "professor" or "ma'am". To me this feels weird. Titles are not a big thing in Sweden I suppose. Once a student called me professor Vinegar... I found that hilarious.

college profs be like: "call me by my first name, I'm yo fren!" Then literally make you suffer through the semester with sleep deprivation

I had this one teacher mrs graham she was 50 and she was one of the best teachers I’ve ever had and she was my English teacher me and my two BFF were her favorite and she would tell us that but when we would read our chapter book (we read a chapter or two every day she would pick people to read if they want to) she would not make us read along she would let us draw on our desks with expo marker and she thinks that teachers should let students do that and she was so pretty but on her last day of working at our school( she went to another school that her sons went to) was a really sad day we all just had a chill class and said how much we were gonna miss her and we all cried at the end of class!😭😢

At my teachers old school, they were aloud to call the teachers by their first name. Apparently, it was to formal to call them by their surname.

My funniest school story from this past year (Online Learning) was either in my math class or in my history. In math class we were watching a math video when a chunky milk ad came on and for the rest of the year we would always mention chunky milk. And in history we were playing a game and randomly the teacher said “it’s not bubble daddy” “or bubble joe mama” and when i say everyone in chat was like “WHAT” everyone really was. It was really funny
