It's something to play around with for sure. I'm toying with the idea in Zen since you can more easily brick than Kayo can, and going second with a hand without go again more or less invalidates the benefit of going second.

@@Lupinefiasco Totally. Pushing for more, more often. It’s hard to justify Kayo in this meta except for comfort and love of the hero.

@@Lupinefiasco Finally you've understood... Magic can be done only with ninja ;) Brute is brute and no matter how good you are discarding BRB hurts, rolling 1 twice hurts, missing Consumed trigger hurts... I've spent lot of time plying brutes and month ago put on sell my cards as you still need be lucky to win important games even 5p is 6p :)

@@krzysztofm.8857 ninja does allow for some finesse in your play, but 15 damage from four cards every turn still hurts!

I completely agree! I appreciate that HVY and MST heroes affected the meta (compared to EVO heroes that are still scrapping for even a few LL points) but the power creep in MST is really unfortunate. I really like the idea of LL absolutely shaking the game to its core! I want to know how ninja plays without Kodachi because Katsu LLed, or how guardian functions without Anothos. Based on how things are going, the original weapons are effectively permanent because there will never be a reason to play early heroes when new heroes are so strong.

@@Lupinefiasco This is my issue with MST. At least with HVY the meta seemed to be fairly even. The top 8 spreads and matchups overall were pretty fun. MST just blows that out of the water. I chose Rhinar as my main when I started playing in October 2023 and now he's positioned out of the game. Even Kayo just can't compete with the new heroes. MST has power crept like MTG is known for, and I'm worried what Rosetta will do being arcane damage focused. LSS does need to be careful otherwise they're going to frustrate too many people. I know certain people say "just change classes/heroes" but we get invested in to our selected heroes and shouldn't be forced to change just to remain competitive. Every hero will always have their bad matchups, but at least help make every hero competitve to a certain degree.

@@newjerseydamo I completely agree! Even if some people argue (wrongly) that the meta needs to settle and Zen is manageable, he completely warps the game around him. Needing to dedicate six sideboard slots to even have a chance at slowing Zen down is completely unreasonable, and the people who say Zen can be dealt with are usually the same ones who say needing three AB equipment for Kano is a crime.
