What a lovely video Andrew; thank you. Peaceful, interesting and just the sounds of good trains, cooking and dogs running. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve followed your caravan reviews and journeys closely, but this works too.
Awwe the boys chillin out in the sunshine and then playing so well together! And then all curled up and sleepy! Lovely old train carriages - I remember those being in use in my childhood in Cornwall ( I'm in my mid 60s!). I agree good food, interpreting walkies with doggies and indulging in your hobby make for perfect days. You so deserve a relax, Andrew! Tc.
This video embodies three of my favourite things, caravanning, dogs and steam trains. We are off to Eye Kettlby Lakes in a couple of weeks to play on the Great Central
Such a beautiful video,I found it quite emotional...Dougal and Ted look so happy...I hope you are too despite this crazy world...Thank you so much for sharing❤
What a delightful video. Thank you Andrew. It was a joy to watch and I didn’t want it to end! So peaceful and relaxing seeing the gorgeous doggies, our beautiful countryside, the wholesomeness of your food and the gracefulness of steam engines. Do so hope you make more like this 🤞😊🐶
Hi Andrew, great to see you and the dogs again . Very calming vlog , something about stream trains and old railway stations and lovely countryside and dogs , can’t beat it 😊
Like a busmans holiday for us who work on the railway.... Love it when we go to Swanage, the sound of a steam loco. Happy memories. Happy and contented in a van with the dogs.. Lovely stuff
The sheer majesty and romance of the old steam engines are hard to beat. Always look forward to one of your videos. Perfectly judged. Thank you, Andrew
Andrew Ditton makes exceedingly good videos. What an excellent return to the medium. I have camped at that spot - it was very rainy on that occasion but a good camp! Cauliflower rice...!
Hari Om You are spoiling us, Andrew!!! I watched twice and will watch again -just fabulous. And that smile at 4:58... it could power a hundred trains! YAM xx
Was at pickering a couple of months ago ,fantastic place. Goathland good as well where you can see the heartbeat buildings still .Great to see you out and about again been a big miss on you tube ,hope you are all well
Hello Andrew. This is a lovely video. No words needed, just wonderful countryside, steam trains, and dogs. Your filming and editing is first class. I will put this on my blog, it is so relaxing to watch. Thank you. ilona
Great to see you back Andrew. The NYMR is one of the things I always like to do when I’m back in gods own country. The fact it also goes to Whitby now really makes it for me.
Absolutely great video. What better than a nice campsite alongside the NYMR with rides pulled by magestic steam engines - I could almost smell the steam. Beautiful country walks with two georgous doggies - absolute heaven.
Great to see a new video series from you, Andrew. Beautifully filmed! We are looking forward to a trip on the Welsh Highland Railway this Summer, staying at Llanberis Touring Park...
So beautiful and calming, thank you, Andrew ❤️🐾Dougal and Ted are best friends, which is lovely to see, your vegetarian curry looks amazing, I've written down the ingredients for our next camping trip 😀
LOL so much to love here, thanks Andrew. And Dougal definitely was smiling a couple of times, when playing ball. ps you could also do a set of timestamps marked Ted1, Ted2, Ted3, more TED as I'm tempted to replay all the shots he is in...! Primroses, cherry blossoms, cowslips...I can see why you had some frost though we still have a north wind here June 17th... think I just saw the train used in the Heartbeat series!!
As a new subscriber, I've been watching your old caravan reviews and think they're great. I love your Elddis and the 422. I've done solo camping in Scotland but a small (cheap!) caravan is on my wishlist. Dougal and Ted look like they're having fun together. Lovely video 😍
Lovely to see you, and the dogs out and about again. I took my granddaughter and 2 cockerpoos to the Ashdown Forest at Easter, we stayed at the CC site at Crowborough, lovely site with great dog walks. The weather was so awful we never did the Winnie the poo trail, but we did drive the short distance to the Spa Valley Railway station, and took the diesel (unfortunately no steam trains on the day we were there) into Tunbridge Wells, we had lunch at a dog friendly pub on the pantiles. and then took the train back, was a nice day out, for us, despite the awful weather.
Wow this is pure joy. The film and sounds were so lovely. My dog took his first ever ride on the South Devon Railway and I am in my Xplore 422 here in Devon. The van was purchased new from Kimberly Caravans after your recommendation x Thank you 🎉
What wonderful relaxing videos (parts 1 & 2) Andrew. It reminds me very much of the wonderful ‘Slow TV’ style of video that I so love; no narrative needed… just the sounds and views. So lovely to see you & your doggies relaxed. Take care all. xx
You struck lucky there Andrew, having some peaceful train carriages to yourself. Usually there's some sort of annoyance to spoil a journey. I love the steam trains and you captured the occasion well and nice to see that you have continued the high standard of video production despite being away for some time. Let the journey and adventures continue and I did wonder for a moment, that you may have felt like it was a tad like a busman zolliday whoever he is...
Beautiful video.Hope your mother and your brother are in good health .Do not forget b12 , replacement therapy with D3 Hormone and Solva zinc .See also Quercertin and Co enzyme Q10 and Liposomal vitim c taken on alternate days to b12 Love S x
Loved that Andrew! Needed cheering up today, my nieces posted pics of our Dave as it's father's day. Ones I hadn't seen. Anyway, lovely to see this vid, the way Ted looks at you in anticipation!! So cute and lovely to see Dougal being a good big brother! So there's another part to be shown? I shall so look forward to that!! Great video, as always, we do miss you so much! Take care, can't wait for the next one! Love and hugs xxx 😍😘🐶🐕
Hi Andrew, lovely to see you & lovely surprise too! How uncanny, I was just looking at some photos today & ones of steam train coming into Pickering Station, Lovely! Excellent filming. The chickpea curry you made looked really nice serviced with cauliflower rice, think I'll have to try this. Aawh! The look on Dougal's face when you turned back the duvet, " just leave me here dad where it nice & warm, he say's!! Lovely to see You,Dougal & Ted have missed you!! Take care, lots of love 💜💖XXX
Thank you, Andrew, for letting us share your holiday with The Boys - they're looking grand, and are obviously good for each other! Looks like a lovely, relaxing time; and it must be nice to know a caravan holiday can now be just that - a holiday, not work. These videos represent a return to something I didn't realise had been perhaps missing for a time - a return to carefree, easy-going content creation for its own sake, without agenda or purpose other than the simple sharing of joy. This new approach is doing you good, and I always look forward to whatever you choose to share with us next! Best wishes to you and your family.
Hi Andrew, it's great to see you back. I have a little suggestion. Consider getting an electric blanket instead of using the oil heater. It's very warm and less dry. Certainly less consumption and safer. Dougle and Ted will find their ways under the quilts😅
What a great video Andrew , great to have a Sunday Evening video again , missed those days , you are looking in the peak of health , all rosy cheeked , love those steam trains , mighty beasts , gosh those two doggies are great pals , Ted is so biddable , you have trained him well , but then his Master Dougall showed him how to behave , I'm sure , lovely boy , very relaxing video , hoping to get a few days away in the Van Royce at a CL , about an hour away next month , but my man has been a bit poorly , needing Chemo in recent months , heading back to Bonnie very soon , do hope for some sunny warm dry days and hopefully these clots in my lungs due to Covid will soon disappear , fingers crossed , looking forward to my trips to familiar sights on The Mull of Galloway , seeing all the wild flowers and birds ,love nature , treat of treats , I have a wild Pyramidal Orchid growing in my front lawn with the Orange Hawksweed and Yellow Daisies , I had a no mow June , its a picture , gosh your caravan looks so cosy and comfortable ,love the L shaped sitting and the huge picture window , great choice my friend , take care lovely man , be happy 😊❤😊❤😊
Fab video ...I ventured down that way hoping for similar experience but guess my timing off as perhaps 4/6 weeks later and I could not comprehend how busy everything was....too much for a rural scottish girl ....beautiful but mobbed thanks for showing me on video what I was trying to see in person lol.
