Lmao i'm not sure how old most of you are but Nappy and Mo explicitly stated many times that these kind of comment sections are one of the reasons they stopped the UCL. Stop taking these kind of leagues so seriously, and also stop sitting there acting as if you'd play perfectly when you have time to think, no pressure and probably watched both team builders. AMEN! everybody thats not actually playing would have played perfectly righ,t we always know exactly what to do. the comment section is the greatest pokemon battler in the world we would never get frustrated about a misclick or has or anything of the such because we always know every possible outcome. Yet were still here in the comment section whilst these guys that "have no idea what their doing" are the ones actually in the competitive leagues lol. Cracks me up how everyone gets so blinded by how serious they take it when their just the spectators!

I disagree in a little, most of the comments I saw were talking about the Latias set and that Shady gave up too early, which is valid criticism. Also if Shady plays better, the content will be better, which is good for all, right ?

Dérick Viana Valid criticism is fine, but people are being too harsh with their criticism given that it doesn't matter. Most of the people I watch like Joey (Pokeaim) are highly competitive, yet even I can watch this and it's entertaining. My point is that it doesn't matter that much if a coach misplays, it's one game in a not fully competitive league.

Guys relax. I’m sure Shady knows what he did wrong. He doesn’t need all the negativity from the peanut gallery. This league is supposed to be fun for them and a toxic comments section is going to make people want to quit. Shady, better luck next week, you can’t win them all and everybody makes mistakes. Amber Moon I feel like people forget that content creators are people with actual feelings. It’s so easy to sit behind a screen and forget that at the end of the day, while they are making content for the fans, they’re ultimately doing this because they love it. I’m sure it would be easier to go work a regular M-F 9-5 job, but instead they bust their asses to do this. So people should cut them some slack and appreciate everything they do for the fans.

hey, good game shady ^^ Bad things happen. Dont mind it. The toxic comments are just enthusiastic but pretty bad at showing it. If you want to, you can try to write down a small list of things to remember during the team builder and then have that at your side. Just stuff such as "calc when unsure", "X is speedcrept to be faster than Y" and so on. Idk if anyone does that, i just thought of it now :)

Shady my man, I will always support you through the good times and bad, but you've gotta do something about paying attention, this is not the first time you mess up with the calc. Losing Incineroar was the turning point of this game. And also, please get rid of that Stored Power set, nobody in this league will allow you to get to +3/+3 to comfortably sweep. There is so much more Latias can do, and you're only harming yourself by locking it into a long setup role. Hope you can bounce back and get a nice W next week. Come on, dude, show 'em what Mankeys can really do (:

Please use something other than Recover/Calm Mind/Refresh/Stored Power Mega-Latias, that mon has great potential. It can be good as a support mon, as a 4 offensive moves attacker, or even with a Dragon Dance set. If you can surprise your opponent, you can do very well with it

Snowcold ok d dance is no set on latias lol its much better on mega latios with that 130 base attack which is actually good and yea it has other sets but the recover cm set has very few counters even if the opponent knows it's coming

Luke awa Latias can still be physical dude. Anything over base 100 is viable. It also gets sucker punch and hone claws.

Krypdoe it can but it's not as efficent with it..There's better ddancers and it's special sets are much better because even with boosts earthquake doesn't do much to most steel types

Shady you should consider building with someone! You're not a bad builder by any means, but sometimes having a second insight can really give you an edge when coming up with sets that can take your opponent by surprise. You'll get 'em next week!!

His latias set just hurts my soul lmao Mega Lati is a powerhouse monster and this man keep bring a set that relies on him getting to +6 to actually do anything. My mans just bring a regular CM Nuke with appropriate coverage for who ever you're playing.

I wish you would stop playing with such a defeatist mentality, its cost you so much already in the UCL this season. The game is never over until the last mon drops, even if you go behind early like you did in this game and its always better to judge the damage or calc properly before you make decisions. I'd rather be frustrated watching the timer tick down so long as it results in you making the correct play.

EbonyUmbreon I also get where they are coming from, the levels of toxicity that came from the past few seasons of UCL was horrendous, but unless there is some criticism, presented in an appropriate way, he'll just keep making the same mistakes.

I’m so sorry about this misclick Shady :( Up until that point I thought you were doing really well though, but I do notice that when something goes wrong in battles it shakes your confidence too much. You’re a really great battler Shady! I think if you did some more practice (perhaps on Showdown for easy building?) you’d feel a lot more comfortable with your team. Also you might want to try building with someone else like Nappy to help you see things from multiple angles during your prep and you’ll feel more prepared. Good luck for the rest of the season! Love your battles Shady, I think you’re a great battler even though the pressure gets to you sometimes and misclicks happen, I totally get it. My only concern is that lately it seems like you’ve been assuming the worst way too soon. There has been a trend where in almost every battle since you came back, at some point in the middle of the battle you just assume your opponent has won the game when it’s still far from over. You say it yourself, this is Pokemon, crazy things happen and I think it’s helpful to stay optimistic. The battles just kind lose the intensity and hype when we have to hear you say the game is over and how your opponent played so much better than you for a few minutes. I love when you make great comebacks, but I don’t want you to feel so dejected after each set back ya know? Salt happens, tilting happens, but you’re a very competent battler and you need to start believing that even when things take a turn for the worst. Good luck in future battles my dude!

I really think you need to stop bringing Stored Power on Latias. you need to have more predictable damage for when you cant set up. I feel like thats bit you one a couple occasions this season already

You can hear how nervous you are when you inhale and take a breath if it's going to be like this maybe you need a break or try some calming techniques that's all

Well poor plays and prep aside, you did okay and at least recognize what u did wrong. Also it is hard to prep when you are busy with other things which is totally understandable.
