The song sounds so pretty good, I mean of course the Patrick's version (original) is so really good too, but this one, makes you feel that you really are like the wind.. (at least me) 👌👌
I don't understand why everyone is hating on the song and the movie. Yes, they aren't as good as the original but that's why it's a remake. It's not supposed to be as great as the original. Personally I like the song and the movie. It's a different interpretation of the story and I think it's great. They focused on other characters and not just Baby and Johnny and that made it so much more real to me. They gave inside family drama and backstories that really made you see that they weren't just characters, they were people. While I don't like how they didn't end up together (I'm a sucker for the happily ever after), I think it was a good idea to show them years down the road and how they both still affected each other. It's a different time period. We aren't in the 80's anymore so why not have a little bit of modern day thrown in. As I said before, it's an interpretation. It's how someone thought it should have been. I applaud the people who rewrote the movie and the songs. Do I think the movie could be better? Yes, but we all have different thoughts about what should have happened. People should focus more on the creativity, depth and detail this movie had compared to the original and less about how different from the original it is. That's why it's a remake. The original is one of my favorite movies of all time and even though it doesn't hold a candle to Patrick Swayze (RIP) I was generally happy with it. Is it one of my favorites? Do I like it better than the original? No and no, but it is enjoyable to watch.
Jessie Bullock not as great as the original?😂 as someone who loves old music, I think something refreshing like this, with a beautiful voice, that’s more upbeat, is way better. You will always love originals, but this takes the cake

They autotuned his voice too much :(, his original voice is a thing of beauty. It probably wasn't his decision, but seriously guys search his other covers, he really has a lovely voice.
O don't care for this version. When Patrick sang it he put you right there with him. The emotions he felt you felt them too. No one can do this song like Patrick
I loved the new Dirty Dancing,more passion,new choreographs and etc.. I won't say it was better from the old one just different and so I loved it. Old songs in modern way.. I just loved it ❤️❤️❤️

Nothing goes over the original movie, but I think the remake is contemporary. The actors and the setting create a whole new look which fits way better in today. But I’m a little sad about that they haven’t use the chance to tell us more of the life of both together and their relationship after this summer.
To all of you there whining that this is song isn't good/it's not as good as the Swayze's version: it was NOT meant to be, so just cut the crap. I like that they tried to bring a more modern sound to the original and I think they really did - sounds great, REPEAT is ON :)
personally yeah I love dirty dancing original but this was fantastic, loved the music and film, only thing I'm watching the now, the thing that gets me is people said you ruined it and crap, well don't comment, really good! x
agreed I really like the new movie...I just think fans of the original movie are putting too much emphasis on the nostalgia factor...I think if people just watch the new movie as it is without comparing it to the original, then people might enjoy the new movie more.
I love how well this song is. When it was sung by the people themselves wow well sorta. BTW does Abigail Breslin sing too?. Nice. Really good! Sorry I am hooked on this version. Such emotion in this song and in the scene in the movie. Wow. Haters stop hating!
