Calvillo is known as the municipality of guava, due to its orchards, sweets and liquors in which this delicious fruit is present.

To eat Calvillo offers a great variety, do not forget to try the guavas in any of their presentations, alone, in jam, canned or sweet. The first fortnight of December the Guava Fair is celebrated. The breads of this town are something wonderful, you must try the chamucos and the cinnamon cemas.
