Hope this isn't a dumb question, but I am curious. When the drummer comes in @ 0:14 with the shout, but flips back beat back & forth like that, who started that or where did that come from origianlly?
As far as I know, Calvin Rodgers is the first person I know that held a PB pocket like that. Practiced it a bit and it sounds nasty when using it to enter into a chop. Falling in love with it
