Items to consider including:
Toolbox or container to keep the supplies clean
Generic lubricant
Disinfectant solution
Bucket for washing the cow or heifer
OB chains and two handles
OB sleeves and gloves
Calf tube
Colostrum replacer
Naval disinfectant
Syringes, needles, and medications per your protocols
Veterinarians phone number
Be sure to establish a relationship with your veterinarian including calving protocols and when they would like you to call for assistance.
