I was fortunate to have seen John Denver in Detroit at the Fox theater , it was one of the most emotionally charged concert I've ever been to , John ended his incredible concert that night with this song ❤😊❤️❤️❤️
It’s a testament to the greatness of this song that I still get the same chills I got when I first heard it 45+ years ago. Fun fact: in the ballroom scene in the original “Poseidon Adventure”, it’s Renee Armand’s voice coming out of Carol Lynley’s mouth singing “The Morning After”.

Awwwsme SONG..He's Gotta Alot of Great Songs but This song has ALWAYS been my FAV. One...Captain COUSTEAU and the Calypso..YAH this was a Great Performance..I Always thought that the Wildlife Conservation Concert was the Best Performance of this Song🎵✌🎶😁👌🎵

Looked like an envelope of some kind and the girl next to was a Small Box..I PROB. Think he had a Few Items to begin with and was kind of heavy handed with gifts.
