The problem is that there many mons like both ursaluna forms that hit the same speedtier, even kingambit or Farigiraf can be annoying to deal with if you aren’t running 0 speed. I tried to get all my legendarys with no 0 attack or speed or even both and it’s worth, especially in a restricted format.

I think fast Calyrex Ice is honestly fine

0 attack for the super common swagger + foul play strats

@@Magikarpador strength sap is way more annoying than foul play and foul play does always damage in a restricted format. Swagger is the least problematic 😆

Do you find that intimidate can be a problem?

@@scooteezy like, I use my Calyrex-ice with AV and I use incinaroar intimidate because it makes my Caly more bulky, i have 252HP 252 ATK 4 SPD AV, with intimidate I can assure he gots Physical and Special defenses covered

@@scooteezy my Caly team is composed of Faragiraf Armor Tail Safety Googles, Caly-Ice, Incinaroar and Rillaboom, the last 2 I’m always trying something new, sometimes feels good, other times feels bad, so I change a lot those 2, and I don’t feel that Rilla is good for this team, but gets the job done, I think a Support with Wide Guard would fit amazing with my team, like Araquanid Water Bubble, this new format it’s hard because we can only use 1 restricted instead of 2, and I don’t know what people will bring to the ladder, maybe using Alola Ninetails with Snow warning Helping Hand fits amazing with Calyrex, but for my application i use Tera Water, it’s a must, and I don’t have the 50% boost in DEF stat

@@ricardoribeiro2742 i tried ninetales, wasn’t too bad, the main problem tho is sometimes the lacking damage output with too many supporters, snow setup is worth and nice with caly but especially useful to counter other weather. It makes you way weaker against torkoal tho so you need additional options as well

@@ElogVGC totally my experience with ninetails, and for me I don’t like it that much because I use a bunch Tera Water, so I lose the 50% buff in defense
