Nothing had sounded like this when it first dropped..No software had created such layers of basslines while still sounding so sharp.Teebee changed my musical direction when Black sound labs LP came out with that deep+emotive yet dark, industrial&Tekky but still percussive beats. And then4me this track was the first that sounded fresh&of a new genre(Neurofunk I guess),pushing the boundaries with the massive influence of Noisia to. I got to warm up for him twice at our night Cornwall over a decade ago&altho we paid him far less than anyother top name that we got down, he smashed it twice as hard as the others&fitted our vibe perfectly.First dj I saw CD mix tho which I wasnt to happy about but just to get unreleased tracks out I guess.Anyway a massive influence for me&underrated the effect he had on the underground scene. Was finally alowd to spin DnB at techno purist parties because of tracks like life continue&!RESPECT4TB👣
@@She_Gave_Me_Quite_a_Show-_- no way I can't remember writing this essay 😋 Totally true though but after all that I had forgotten to like the video.. Done now 👍👍
That feeling, starting at 2:26 and following, when just the high end of the beats change a bit creates that atmosphere I am looking for in drum & bass. Drool!
Fck yeah it does, it's still hella fresh, even though it came out over ten years ago. This blew my mind when I first heard it, I mean this is just insane. My girlfriend had never heard anything like it, she mostly listens to rap, but this shit blew anything she listened to before out of the water.
