Other teams have been at their cap yet reach the SB Then Dak could've been $15M cheaper now had they extended him after the 2018 season Had they extended dlaw without a franchise tag... The same with Coop, then they GAVE him away What about paying Zeke too much and too early? All this mismanagement belongs squarely on the owners They're horrible... Ranked at the bottom at negotiating contracts Just look at Lamb now When we traded Coop, CeeDee should've been paid immediately after BUT Placing the onus of player personnel on the players not only isn't the answer... It's blatantly unfair

Most QBs reach the Super Bowl while on a rookie contract. Do you know why? They are cheap and easier to build around. DLaw didn’t get extended right away because he literally had one double digit sack season. How many double digit seasons since signing? I don’t blame the organization for Coop look at why he ended up in Dallas? Trading him for nothing was all Jerry fault you can’t bad mouth the player you’re trying to trade. Then you contradict yourself by crying about Zeke being paid early but want less productive players paid early. Two of the best QBs took less and setup their contracts to help the team Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes. This is Dak 3rd contract does he want to win at the negotiating table or playoffs?

@376ironman What other playoff QBs defense allowed numbers similar to the Cowboys Daks last 2 playoff games have had very dismal starts But other QB defenses notably hold down the fort until the offense finds their footing Mahomes defense has been resilient the past few yrs So was the Rams' defense 2 yrs ago

Ok First off Dak has been in the league way longer than most of these dudes. Secondly Dak doesn't just have a playoff problem, he has a big game problem. He always shrinks against the better teams. Last year all those stats he put up were against mostly bad teams. Thirdly Jalen Hurts was ranked the 3rd best player IN THE NFL by THE NFL players, won 13 straight games against teams with WINNING records, brought his team back 7 times after being down double digits. And has went to a Super Bowl. Last year he was the leading candidate for MVP with 5 games left despite terrible and predictable play calling. Aint no way I'm taking Dak over Hurts. Cam bumped his damn head.

There's isn't one thing Jalen Hurts does better than Dak outside of running. Hurts is a glorified running back. Eagles fans swear that every facet of their team is better than Dallas offensively. WR, RB, TE, OL, Coach. Then why is it that Dak outclasses him in every QB metric? passer rate, QBR, CMP%, Pass Yards Per Game Yards per Attempt, TD%, Interception rate, Yards Per Completion. Literally every single passing statistic Dak is superior.

But yes Cam Newton is sing that Dak Prescott can play better than half of the football players on that list but like you said half of the quarterbacks but what about the other half of the quarterbacks that he can't beat on that list like Patrick Mahomes and like Brock Purdy and also Kyler Murray and Josh Allen he cannot beat those quarterbacks he still having problems getting past those football teams until he can get past any of those teams he will never get to the Super Bowl championship.

Are you under the impression that QB's line up across from each other and wrestle? It's not Dak vs Brock Purdy. Or Dak vs Mahomes. Or Dak vs Allen. It's the Cowboys offense vs the SF defense. It's the Cowboys offense vs the KC defense. Does that make sense? And until you have a run game that can get teams out of cover 2, you are going to continue to see it. Mahomes can't beat a cover 2 either. That's what TB ran against him in the SB when TB won. It's what Cinn ran against him in the NFC title game when they won.
