This was after Nas went on power 105 dissing hot 97 and other artists, told Cam he had to step his bars up after he released Come Home With Me. JERU I know exactly how the beef started. I actually heard the Nas radio interview live when he said that. The comment was still stupid cuz a lot of wack rappers were going platinum back then. Even Nas' worst album Nastradamus went platinum. I got Cam's Come Home With Me album back then and literally threw it away after giving it 2 spins. Nas was 100% right. That album was terrible and I expected more from a dude with Cam's talent backed by Kanye and Just Blaze production. Cam is a buffoon with a nice flow who can sometimes be witty and lyrical, but most of what he says is just dumb elementary school shit. His diss towards Jay was just a repeat of what Nas said on Ether. And then doing this silly track when all he's doing is gossiping over a fire beat. Like I said, buffoon shit.

Cams been nice, he has amazing wordplay...Nas tells good stories but in my opinion at the end of the day, Cam has way more street cred and is a legend like Nas, thats the difference.
