I love all of these Eldorados. I have Avenue and Kingdom. Black iris smells great and I may pull the trigger next time I see it, but it was just a bit too challenging a scent profile from the first impression
Good to see someone reviewing this. I was in Marshall's today and saw this next to Sapil Intense Noir, which is insane - I never see anything like this. Sprayed it, and thought "yeah - it's Aveentus-y" So I grabbed them both. Ended up going back to get the second bottle of Avenue before someone snatched it up!
To be honest I think this is aventus cologne which is kind of like an eau friche version of aventus. I love it so much if you ever get the chance to snow that one in Macy's or something do it
Mine actually performs like a beast! 12 hours later I’m still catching whiffs. I came around to it after a few weeks of thinking it smelled a little too leathery and musky, but I love it now. One of the best aventus clones!
For the price, 9/10. For any price, 7.5/10. Keep eldorado a secret, and I’m not playing. Maybe talk about here on this gentlemen’s solid fragrance page, but don’t tell people out in the world.
One website says that the notes from top to bottom are: Pineapple, bergamot, yuzu, pomelo, black currant, apple.....Turkish rose, arabian jasmine, patchouli, birch.....Vanilla, musk, oak moss, ambergris.
Good review! I've had this one since last year (two bottles actually)...love it and I do get the Aventus vibe...but I've got to say it does remind me more of Cedrat Boise (which is of course, "Aventus-ish"). It's a pretty solid performer on skin (6+ hrs), projection is a bit light...but it really is very smooth, very enjoyable...a great pickup for the price!
Haha, I got lucky and found them at my local TJ Maxx last August. There were two sitting on the shelf, grabbed them both! I'm halfway through the first bottle already, glad to have that backup...but I'd still grab a few more if I see them!
Yep, definitely closer to Cedrat Boise. I picked this up earlier today, and as I'm wearing it I'm like, "wait a minute... This reminds me of something else (besides Aventus)".
I finally found this today!!!! Bro...... Broooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... Man for 14.99 You are actually rocking Aventus. Smells like my 2021 Aventus. Almsot 100% accurate. the top isnt that high quality fruit; but it's super close AF. The dry down is spot on for sure; it's the star. Now my 2021 has matured over the years so it's really good, but it's not way better by any means. This is a 3 bottle worthy fragrance. This > Aventus right now

i wonder if there are batch variations because man you are describing a diff scent than the Avenue I bought today. The Camara Eldorado I bought smell is 98% identical to Aventus and Performs outstandingly.
@@fragrancefan I picked up sapil noir intense a year or so ago, thought it sucked. Peppery lemon linear. Picked it up today after spraying it once all that time ago and man it changed. It's a decent aventus clone. Smells like it has grapefruit and pepper at the top now, dries down musky jasmine ambergris with a hint of apple and grapefruit. Kinda nice now lol. For the price it was worth the wait.
Take my word for it it's aventus with a Twist when you smell it the first thing you will think is aventus I promise. I mean it's even in the name AVENUE AVENTUS lol
You can tell by the font they used for "Avenue" too. It's the same font as Aventus. You'll notice too, with El Dorado "Kingdom" the K is almost exactly the same as By Killian's logo. And that dead on smells like Straight to Heaven. That being said... Avenue really does remind me a lot of Cedrat Boise. It's almost like a "blue" version of it. I doubt that's what they were going for but I'd say it's actually closer to being a blue Cedrat Boise than it is to Aventus or Aventus Cologne
