Red makes the back end look like any car out there.... the smoked likes look best on White, but particularly good on the nightfall gray metallic....thanks for the installs tips....

I thought they looked okay at first when I installed them on my black '17 2SS, but once I saw them at dusk with the lights turned on, the part that lights red completed the "clean lines" look that I wanted.

I think it looks considerably better. The rear of the 6th gen is what I dislike most about these cars. Yours looks really good with everything you've done. Kinda changing my opinion of these cars a little. ;) Some pics at different angles and distances would be helpful by the way.

Good DIY video Lethal. I think they look great on your car. In "my" opinion, tinted taillights only look good on white vehicles. The red OEM taillights looked ok, but they messed with the flow and contrast from certain angles. Anyways, the Maro looks better & better by the week.

broke the red tab during install on right tail light ...think I will have connection issues?

+Jake Erlitz the red tab is to save the connection from falling apart during vibrations. A quick wrap with electrical tape will solve that

Man that black look sweet as hell!! It matches the spoiler really nice. Did your car come with the black spoiler? In order to really set it off you should black out the headlights and the side marker lights and then it'll be Boss

Those look WAAAAAAY better. The only color the red ones look even acceptable on is red. I have these tail lights in my possession as well. I'm just waiting on my 2017 to be produced in two weeks (fingers crossed!). No way my black Camaro will be seen with red tail lights.

Looks always subjective, but I personally like the stock tail lights better. A little red looks nice. If you like the blacked out ones then that's all that matters!

I just picked up the black tail lights. For the reverse.... The factory bulb is LED and all you have to do is swap it from the factory tail lights? Update: I just saw another one if your videos on you previously upgrading the reverse lights to LED so nevermind I guess. I have never paid much attention to my reverse lights.

i installed these on my camaro 2016 SS, and my key fob started to not detect with my camaro, as soon as i returned to the factory tailights, my key fob started to work again, any comment on why this is happening, was i suppose to order the led kit as well with the tail lights? I dont want to return these lights because i really like them

Hey Matt. You have the blackened side markers. don't you know if anyone offers the clear (unpainted) LED aftermarket ones for 6gen? Such as the EU version of 6gen has? maybe the similar question for tail lights? The clear ones with orange signal LED? I was not successful finding any lighting sets for 6gen...
