Welcome to the Kingdom of Cambodia. I have made my way to Siem Reap and today I'm exploring with Sean from @FrugalWanderer & Franc from @franclyspeaking My main channel with my wife Naomi is here : @TwoMadExplorers
I thought I was quick with the edits.. Nope.. the true legend shows me how i's done. I had a blast with you and Franc yesterday bumming around the city and getting up to no trouble. So much fun. Can't wait to see what else you come up with.

I love Cambodian people they are very truthful in their dealing as for $1 each person for a whole days ! Wow it’s literally free ride plus historical touring there’s no such things. Thank you for promoting Cambodia country . Enjoyed your stayed ! Thank you 🙏🥰
Hey man, good to see another Irish man traveling in Cambodia. I visited there in March for the first time and I am in love with it. Siem Reap and Pnom Penh, I was so amazed - it really opened my eyes. keep er lit mo chara
I have been to Cambodia and explored Angkor Wat, as you say it is a wonderful place BUT you should visit Bagan in Myanmar. No comparison at all, hands down Bagan is the winner, but still relatively unknown to international tourists because of the situation in-country.
I don't think you can expect much of the authenticity of real Khmer cultures anywhere. Khmer civilization rose around 1,300 years ago, latest among neighbor civilizations due to the farthest distance from its origin to the west (India). The fall of Khmer was around 1,000 years ago due to civil war, the slave clades (They were Hindu) overthrown and executed the royals and the sages who held the knowledge of the civilization, freed themselves from the oppressive Varna system. Their former arts and knowledge were lost with the past rulers and sages they overthrown. 7 centuries from the fall of civilization, Cambodia became a territory of Sukhothai, Ayuthya, Thonburi and Ratanakosin (Bangkok). Cambodia after the fall of Khmer, lacked of the past knowledge, they adopted much of Thai cultures, arts and knowledge from their colonial rulers and mixed them with their little leftover of the old cultures in attempts to prevent losing them forever.
Kiwis and Aussies only have a friendly rivalry, no animosity towards each other, we love our neighbour. ….Nothing like some Thai towards the Khmers it’s stupid & sad as it’s usually caused by an uneducated RU-vidrs who’s only interest is to attract viewers by causing a stir!
Well now Luke - I'm impressed as an old retired American - intrigued for some time with Siem Reap & watched Sean several times. -- For Reil as well. -- And James and Allen...... really like them all ! --- Welcome - and - you look quite hot !!! --- My only issue with the place as an old - not so healthy wanna be expat. I don't think I could tolerate '''that''' discomfort ? - - - Enjoyed the video - keep up the good works - many of us will enjoy from a "comfortable" distance.
Siem Reap is safer than major cities in America, Europe. Central/South America, Caribbean and Africa. I am American. I traveled to about 25 countries. Siem Reap was very safe. We must practice universal precautions in any country.
Cambodia was a colony of Thailand for over four hundred years. Culture in Cambodia is derived from Thailand. In the past, Cambodia was called Khmer and Thailand was called Siam.
LOL. Culture of who and derived from who? The his story is in the back yard of Khmer empire. After difficulty, Khmer still survive and keep striving. Everything neightbor gain from because the absence of Khmer people. Please dig into root to understand the whole tree.
@@thameas4169Regardless Cambodia Today is Practically Thai Culture except for Angkorian era lol! Every Year Cambodia has emulated more of Thailand than to be its own Unique Culture that’s a Fact! There was Clear Distinct Difference in the Past that their leaders tried to differentiate but that has long been gone! The Khmer Royal Palace is the Emulation of the Thai Grand Palace hence forth the birth of Thai Architecture throughout Cambodia! Angkor vs the Khmer Royal Palace are Vastly Different lol! Thai Entertainment in every form is practically what the surrounding countries consume!
@@Nan-x3r People who look at my profile picture will know because in the past, every Khmer king was appointed by the King of Siam because Khmer was a colony of Siam.🤣🤣
