saying Pol Pot disagrees with Tamok (one of his closest
officers) and Pol Pot will surrender in two or three days. He
says Pol Pot's situation is very bad and Pol Pot cannot stay as
he is because foreigners (Thai, China, Laos or others) will not
help him. He (Pol Pot) has no food, no medicine and will
therefore be finished soon but with the problem inside Cambodia

The only communist revolutionary I can bring myself to admire is Ho Chi Minh - a man who dedicated his entire life to a revolutionary struggle for national independence, first against the French, then the Japanese, then the French again, and finally against the Americans. Literally all his life he was engaged in the struggle for Vietnam's national reunification and independence. I might disagree with his politics (and I do), but I can at least acknowledge that he and the Vietnamese people endured one of the 20th-century's most protracted revolutionary struggles, and in the process, they defeated both the French and the Americans. Regarding Cambodia: Yes, Vietnam has always been owed a vote of thanks for intervening against and putting an end to the murderous regime misruling 'Democratic Kampuchea'. The fact that, following the end of the KR regime in early 1979, many western nations actively colluded to ignore the growing evidence of Khmer Rouge (real name: The Communist Party of Kampuchea) atrocities, voting to allow the KR to keep their nominal seats at the UN in protest at Vietnam's 'invasion', is a disgrace. Vietnam rid Cambodia of its murderous tyrants and helped that once-beautiful nation back to its knees until it was fully able to stand unaided as a sovereign nation-state once more. It has been calculated, based on the best forensic research and existing records available to modern scholars, that the brutal Pol Pot regime saw some 1.7m Cambodians, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Chams murdered by The Communist Party of Kampuchea, by a combination of overwork, illness, neglect, starvation, torture or execution. It was all deliberate and ideologically driven. Pol Pot died in 1998. He was never brought to justice for the terrible crimes against humanity he and his cadres instigated.

Well the Indonesian side (the Javanese at least) also has a witty king that managed to get the mongol's trust to help him before backstabbing them, securing his position in Java and demotivates the Mongol to ever step foot on the island again. Still, thank you to the Vietnamese for being an ally during the Mongol expansions. I heard that they lured the Mongols to a swampy area that only they are familiar with, granting certain victory over them (or was that another war? I need to fact-check it). That's really badass ngl

The Chinese back in 1975 had already made a lot of border disturbance, violations and small arms attacks on Vietnam's soil, they have a bad relationship when Vietnam decided to follow and support USSR - China's main rival in the 1960's. And when the Vietnam war had ended, China started harrasing Vietnam repeatedly until the Vietnamese invade and tries to overthrown the Pol Pot's brutal regime due to the Pol Pot's intentions of attacking Vietnam and Thailand to "reclaim the land that was rightfully theirs", increasing the tension between China and Vietnam's plummeting relationship. And then the Chinese goverment decided to cooperate with the US and its allies to maintain its strength and to show Vietnam that no one except USSR supported them, and then when Vietnam started getting their troops in Cambodia, China made an offensive attack on Vietnam to draw the main forces of Vietnam's army to get out of Cambodia, this offensive attack was known by the US as "The Sino-Vietnam war" and to the Vietnamese as "Chiến tranh biên giới Việt-Trung năm 1979", while China had already deleted the war from their memory because they don't want to speak about it. The US was still bitter about losing the Vietnam war, and when they heard that China and Khmer Rouge was attacking Vietnam, they just silently agrees to the actions made by the Chinese goverment to "Teach Vietnam a lesson". And they also opposed Vietnam's actions to protect itself partly because Vietnam is a communist country that follows Marxist-Lenin ideology and partly because they want China to eradicate a thorn in their eye for good. But this ultimately drags the USSR to help the Vietnamese to mobilize and support Vietnamese troops back to the Northern region of Vietnam, where the offensive of the PLA main forces - China's "People Liberation Army" is still on going. The Chinese made little to no gain of territory, each day on average they could only take 0.9 km of land, 2 weeks after the first push and the furthest they could get is less than 35 - 40 km, while Ha Noi is still 135 km away. And any "strategic victory" that the Chinese claims they have is mostly false and inaccurate, due to civilian casualites that the Chinese count as Vietnamese army's casualties and due to guerilla warfare that the Vietnamese mastered a long time ago made the Chinese confused and thought that they were winning while in fact the Vietnamese guerilla units just melted away from the battlefield, waiting to strike a second time. And the fact that of all 10000 PLA soldiers that joined the first push, 1/3 of those have already died in the first days of the offensive due to the ineffective transportation and fighting methods made by the Chinese and also because of the effective and strong defensive line made by the Vietnamese. Both sides suffered massive casualties (included civilian casualties), Vietnamese's casualties is slightly smaller than the Chinese. And when the Chinese army retreats to China's border because they do not want to fight a long, costly war with Vietnam, they declared themselves the "Winner" of the war and said that they have achieved the goal of teaching Vietnam a lesson even though Vietnam teached them a lesson in the first place and China had failed their important goal of getting Vietnam's main forces out of Cambodia. And the USSR never really attacked China even though Vietnam and the USSR had made a pact to help each other (that includes resorting to conventional and nuclear warfare) when one is being attacked. And that makes some people to doubt the USSR credibility to protect its allies from the "lingering threat of the democratic countries, NATO and China". This in turn help to shape the destabilization of the Warsaw Pact and the downfall of the USSR.

Genocide is the biggest shame in our history. China and U.S at the back of Polpot In the Cambodia genocide. China government and U.S government must answer for their crime. Though the victim shouted for help, no one went to their aid. China and U.S at the back of Polpot. Viet Nam volunteer troops marched to Cambodia to fight against Pol Pot to free the Cambodian people. Both the Cambodia and Vietnam were small countries who suffered "impositions" by wealthier nations.

I also mention that China’s Expansionist Rulers like Mao ZeDong and Deng XiaoPing knew this and made full use of it. They thus praised Pol Pot and extolled him to the sky, with flying phrases like “Comrade, your Cambodian Revolution is Top of the World!”, “Comrade, we Chinese Revolutionaries admire your Cambodian Revolution so much, and we must learn from it!”, etc. # Now, except among his closed circle of Khmer-Rouge top-cadres, Pol Pot was a nobody from a small, backward country that was Cambodia, with about 7 millions people (before the MaoZedong-DengXiaoPing-ChinaRulers-directing-PolPot-executing genocide) # On the other hand, the likes of Mao ZeDong and Deng XiaoPing were notorious top-leaders of the most populous country in the world, that was China, with 1000 millions people. # Even US president Richard Nixon had to come seeking audience and help from them # Unknown Pol Pot from little Cambodia being praised to the sky by the notorious like Mao ZeDong and DengXiaoPing; this must have made Pol Pot feel he’s top of the world, invincible! # But of course, the praises to Pol Pot from the likes of Mao ZeDong and Deng XiaoPing, and China’s Expansionist Rulers, were like those of the Fox to the Crow in “The Fox and the Crow” fable; or the prodding flattery for the Frog that wants to be as big as a Cow in “The Frog and the Cow” fable. # After the praises and extolments came the advice, direction and orchestration by China’s Expansionist Rulers for the Pol Pot clique to “kill all enemies within”, gradually expanding to perpetrate the most heinous genocide of the Cambodian people. # That is the Internal Part. They thus praised Pol Pot and extolled him to the sky, with flying phrases like “Comrade, your Cambodian Revolution is Top of the World!”, “Comrade, we Chinese Revolutionaries admire your Cambodian Revolution so much, and we must learn from it!”, etc. # Now, except among his closed circle of Khmer-Rouge top-cadres, Pol Pot was a nobody from a small, backward country that was Cambodia, with about 7 millions people (before the MaoZedong-DengXiaoPing-ChinaRulers-directing-PolPot-executing genocide) # On the other hand, the likes of Mao ZeDong and Deng XiaoPing were notorious top-leaders of the most populous country in the world, that was China, with 1000 millions people. # Even US president Richard Nixon had to come seeking audience and help from them # Unknown Pol Pot from little Cambodia being praised to the sky by the notorious like Mao ZeDong and DengXiaoPing; this must have made Pol Pot feel he’s top of the world, invincible! # But of course, the praises to Pol Pot from the likes of Mao ZeDong and Deng XiaoPing, and China’s Expansionist Rulers, were like those of the Fox to the Crow in “The Fox and the Crow” fable; or the prodding flattery for the Frog that wants to be as big as a Cow in “The Frog and the Cow” fable. # After the praises and extolments came the advice, direction and orchestration by China’s Expansionist Rulers for the Pol Pot clique to “kill all enemies within”, gradually expanding to perpetrate the most heinous genocide of the Cambodian people. # That is the Internal Part. The aim is to wipe Cambodia clean of the Cambodian population, ready Cambodia for Deng XiaoPing’s Chinese advisers, troops and eventually settlers to flood in. # As for the External Part, the advice, direction and orchestration by China’s Expansionist Rulers for the Pol Pot clique are to wage war on Vietnam, and perpetrate the most barbaric atrocities on the Vietnamese civilians. # According to China-Rulers’ calculations, in waging war against Vietnam, Pol Pot would eventually loose for sure, and Pol Pot’s troops severely depleted. # Once the China-Rulers-scheming-and-directing-PolPot-executing Cambodian genocide has been successful (for China’s Expansionist Rulers), and Pol Pot’s troops have been so severely depleted and Pol Pot was on the brink of defeat in the war with Vietnam, Pol Pot would surely called out to China’s Rulers for help to prop up his Khmer Rouge regime. # That was when China’s Rulers would flood the empty Cambodia with their advisers, troops, and eventually colonizers, and turn Cambodia into another Xin-Jiang (East Turkestan), but without any Cambodians left. # That was China-Expansionist-Rulers’ vile scheming and calculations for Cambodia and Vietnam. ====================================== Dear Viewer - I’ll try to translate my comment below into English (and hopefully other languages as well, especially Khmer) later. But for now, it’s in Vietnamese. # Essentially, it’s the evil scheming and direction for the Pol-Pot clique by China’s Expansionist Rulers (notably Deng XiaoPing and Mao ZeDong) to wipe out the whole Cambodian people, so as to make Cambodia ready for Chinese advisers, troops and colonizers to flood in, and thus turn Cambodia into another Xin-Jiang (East Turkestan) but without any Cambodian left. Kissinger ordered the bombing of Cambodia ,although the US Gov, recognised it being neutral .Kiss did not inform Congress or the US public .In fact he ordered pilots to approach the targets indirectly to avoid alerting US radar . 30% of rural Cambodia was destroyed by carpet bombing by B52s .. Over a million people were killed and 1.5 million fled in terror to towns & cities . Crazed survivors joined the Khmer Rouge and exacted a horrific revenge on the ruling classes ,who had collaborated with the US enemy . NVA troops decimated Khmer guerrillas after they attacked Vietnamese who had settled in border regions . POL POT surviving fighters ,after being scattered , were then supported & rearmed under warlord Kissinger's orders , IN order that they could be of use ,drawing Vietnamese troops fighting for independence to border areas again ,to protect their people from Khmer killers .. POL POT was condemned .. Kissinger carried on being a ruthless imperialist .
