In Cambodia, we always make this dessert during Khmer New Year, Phchum Ben days. It's soft, chewy and the filling is both sweet and salty.
Ingredients
1. Mung bean fillings
1 cup [230g] Dried Mung beans
4 Tbsp Cooking Oil
4 Tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
5 Tbsp Chopped Green onions
2. Dough
3 cup [435g] Glutinous Rice Flour
4 Tbsp Sugar
1 1/2 cup [370ml] Coconut Milk
1/4 tsp Salt
Banana leaves
Cooking oil for coating
