I think they're both fairly equal! 😂😂 maybe "chucking it down" sounds slightly heavier or louder than "tipping it down" haha. We also sometimes say "it's bucketing it down" or "it's raining buckets". We need a lot of these phrases because it rains so much in Enlgand🌧☔️😂
