In the post-Lu Yu world, tea starts to take off like a rocket. It will take a little longer for tea to get the needed traction in Japan but during the Tang, they get to see it and appreciate it up close.
We'll also look at one of the early "Tea Persons", the poet and recluse Lu Tong, as well as one of his most famous tea poems. Finally, we start the discussion on teaware, first Yue ware and Xing ware.

Last week, I had gyokuro and shincha for the first time in several months. The delicious smell reminded me that I almost forgot how much I love drinking tea, especially with cups and bowls I made myself.

Just got an invite this morning from my former employee (originally from Chaozhou) to sample some 乌栋单丛 she just got. I love any Dancong. Hope you enjoyed the episode.

Hey Lazlo! Today on the internet, I found out that there was a mysterious pyramid located somewhere in Shannxi province, I don’t know much about it, could you tell me what it is?

Listening to this drinking the last of the Pu''er Yibing Yiwu 姑茶 in the house. I'm quite disappointed. We get lots of good tea here in Xishuangbanna, but this one was particularly good.

Tea enters Japan Government: great, we can make it first popular and then tax it! Administrators are the same in every civilization in every era.
