I had a cousin years ago that punched a hole through the bed of my truck taking care of a prairie dog town. Be careful shooting over the hood and the bed of your truck 😂
Without doubt those politicians do "Hobby Shooting" and assume "That's the norm" on how to take out ferial species. Without doubt too we are assuming they are listening to the minority and not the majority who are more aware of "Over populace of ferial species".
You’re right but something has changed. 911 patriots from around the world stood up. Now for some reason they take our guns and we’re the bad guys. It’s just sad our kids won’t get to see the world we enjoyed growing up. Love your videos
Even with interrupted-cycle and pump-action systems, you have to change hold between shots, which means you can't transition instantly and consistently from one target to the next. Semi-auto enables this. You can see how quickly the camels can move off into the bush. Under pressure to connect before the camels are out of shot, Jack tries to compensate for the mechanical handicap by paring back his aiming time. Often this causes him to miss. Semi-auto would give him back the extra half second of aiming time between shots that's often the difference between missing and killing. Jack and Danny have to travel many miles and commit many hours to getting the camels in the cross hairs for a few brief seconds, so anything that lets them make the most of that investment and those time constraints is valuable. It is worse than stupid to handicap such dedicated and skilled workers In this way.
Yeah, they’re fighting to try to get semi auto. I Truely hope they can. But to be fair to them they are getting some good work done with the bolts and pumps.
How things have changed.. I'm 75.years young.. When I was in High School (lower north shore in Sydney) The Army Cadets had an armoury Containing a100 plus 303s, a couple of Bren guns a mortar and ammo. We also had a dozen or so 303s bored for 22 cal which we used to shoot at a 25 yd. range belonging to a neighbouring school. --- There was not one injury...
Showing your passion & speaking your mind, good for you Jack, I live in the Adelaide Hills & was totally unaware of the issues you guys face until I started watching, you get my vote for change, keep up the good work despite the frustrations.
Nice addition to your library, thank you. A small favor - would it be possible to ask Danny to please try to keep the triggercam on the target after firing? He likes to point towards the sky after firing. A minor thing, but it makes for a better video to see the results, if possible... thank you!
Nice Sesame Street reference there Jack, barely came across as sinister lol. I'm liking the reports you're giving about thermal scope use. I bought the PARD DS35/70 from ASA based partly on your experience with it, tbh agree with you on the initial zoom level of 5.6x being a bit much, 4x would been better, 3x even more so. Ahh well, first NV purchase - likely will put it on the 22LR for night time coup de grace's, if a bunny pops up or I'm at a dam and the night has been dead and there's lots of flaming cane toads to practise my aiming on!
I won't mention the Pop singers name, but where he lived they had a wild bore problem. So, he had his land semi fenced, then with the aid of beaters they drove out every wild boar on his land, then sealed the fencing. His neighbours then had the wild boar problem, while the pop singing joined to protests of shooting animals, this was in our UK Devon area.
@@haydenbretton2990 so he pushed his small problem onto someone else luckily jack isn't a asshole and knows that if he pushed the camels onto other properties they would have to deal with it and the bush would be eaten out there causing the remaining camels to come back hundreds of horse size animals eating everything in sight is a major issue considering fencing doesn't slow them down
Brilliant !! One of your best vids yet Jack and with Danny in "full flight" (my favourite) loved every second of it !! Would have to disagree with some of the comments about Danny's rifle pointing up after each shot (even though it would make better viewing) I think the more time a rifle spends pointing up and not level the better. It looks to me that he has been well trained (he is no dope).
Keep your morals up Jack , for neighbours are to respect your pleas , then don't loose control of how you speak , remember you are out there working with people who want to their race of people out of worldly culture.
Wish i could help in some way but from South Africa, we don't have enough reach. Going to look for your contact Jack and then reach out to our Gun Association and put the question to them about perhaps drumming up a sign up petition of sorts. It seems that here in South Africa, we actually have more "Freedom" as buying and licensing a semi auto is no sweat at all. Cheers Jack.
I think Jack likes to shove it in RU-vids face, most of the pro channels edit sh#t like that out also not many of them swear likeJack does, if he wants to be taken seriously by the authorities then it needs a different approach. You need to bring them onside, frustrating I know but that's his only chance any other way they will only shut down and not listen.
We have 4 kinds of speed bump here in Lower NSW. The: Small grey speed bump. The fast red speed bump. The round black speed bump. …and the big eastern grey jumping speed bump!
I can only imagine the work y'all could do with a good suppressed AR10 and Magpul D50. It'd be a lot more humane for the camels. I'm surprised the company that makes the wedge tail hasn't made an AR10 based setup similar to the speedline. That seems like it'd be more effective than the pump if the ergos on the bolt release were right.
Access to semi automatic rifles for effectiveness and access to supressors for workplace health and safety concerns are both essential to you, other primary producers and professional shooters. Considering in regard to suppressors, the new US military service rifle is suppressed for WHS reasons and the argument against having them is for safety for the community, even though they are comically easy to make and install. Criminals using firearms illegally wouldn't likely worry about another charge for using an illegal suppressor. As you said, it doesn't fit with politicians narrative or agenda
Here in the uk, some years back getting a suppressor for stalking or vermin control was impossible. Then people started suing for hearing damage and things changed. Owning a rifle is hard enough by the time you have jumped through hoops in the first place without going deaf as a consequence of your sport.
Brilliant video. As a British person, I didn't realise how bad introduced species can wreck the environment and people's lives. Good work fellas, especially Danny Rambo a man of few words but many actions.
What caliber is that rifle? Curiosity sake Great work. Truly appreciate your views and your responsibility as a rancher and an advocate of firearm as tools Answered my questions 11min in 👌🏻
meateater or one of their other podcasts (cals week in review) might be able to speak about your issue. they touch on different wildlife issues and legislation quite often.
Hi, Jack and Danny. Wow, good shooting there. Danny loves that wedge tail. I don’t think you’ll get it back Jack I think that’s Dannys gun from now on , keep up the good work always enjoy the videos Cliff from Queensland Australia
Old mate I'll subscribe to you off of your opening statement I cannot believe this s*** that's going around this f****** place ... I can't believe how much these thermal imagery scopes have changed the game when it comes to hunting .. very new all that
You and Danny make awesome team but then again you and the shorty cute ammo passer make good one too , I would love to do early hunt like this before sun melts my pomm flesh off me
@@molle232 Gunsmiths in UK have been doing it for years. British SF have all their sniper rifles done too or made from the factory with Free floating barrels. EG Accuracy International. You obviously do not understand barrel harmonics.
@@molle232 What stone have you been hiding under?L All our sniper rifles were bedded in and had free floating barrels. You obviously don’t understand barrel harmonics . Look at Accuracy International website.
New subscriber here mate from Western NSW........you should try comedy bloke as you are hilarious......"Start getting sensible people in parliament, not oxygen deprived politicians" hahaha c'mon mate we both know that will never bloody happen 😂 Loving the content champ and you are dead right about what primary producers have to go through with the s@#tty laws we have. Keep plug'n along mate, cheers
Out of interest why do you use a smaller calleber rife and not something with a one hit kill like example a 300win mag or even 270 3006 308? Honestly love the videos just wondering the questions. Thanks
Been going through these videos, hell of a job that is, it looks hard enough out there. What do you do with all of the carcasses? I’ve culled rabbits, pigeons and deer but flip me they are a big beast to just leave lying there.
Jack, as always, very educational and thank you for sharing! Does Austrailia have something like the U.S. National Rifle Association's Institue of Legislative Action? Lots of folks here in the US (Even hunters and shooters) bash the NRA but the bottom line is, they are the only organization actively working the House of Representatives and Senate as well as the courts to make sure stupid laws are not passed.
dannys a star, got yourself a hard worker there!. how many bullets you get thru in a month, and what they cost to sjip to middle no where?. thumbs up from uk 👍
seems like you all got a commie gov as we do here in canada. i am in nova scotia and its bad, i am a well driller and the gov is trying to do away with us, the same as farmers. no water no life.my name is dale l baird and live just out side of truro ns. if the gov wants a fight i am all about that. maybe i will retire to the out back down under and live large. love the seeing and doing.
