Just a quick status update to let you know the project has not fallen off of a cliff or anything like that. Progress is being made, documentation is being improved and will be made available to my viewers at the end of the series. Nice digital clean-up of the pcb traces LabGuy. I know from experience it can be quite a laborious but ultimately rewarding task, especially when trying to reverse engineer a particular piece of equipment.

I'm impressed with the re-imaging you're doing with the PC boards. That will certainly make troubleshooting easier. And if anyone should need to make replacement PCBs for Cartrivision cameras, you now are the place to go for the graphics!

Thank you for your kind words. I think that if I built a replica of this camera, I would use the Kicad software to do the layout. The image I show in this video is far from done. It will eventually be made "transparent" and show the locations of all the componets and the important test points. Then of course, there is an identical graphic for the second board. Time, time and more time.

Yes i agree working on HV gear always have the mind set its on and dangerous ,i always have a meter on the dc power supply showing how much is there to either kill me or not !
