@@einfachich9864 Yes, if you do long recordings. I have just spent most of the day with a ZV-E1 at a tattoo convention doing short shots. The camera was not even close to overheating. But if I did 30 min straight in 4K 60, it would overheat. It all depends on what your use case is.

@@einfachich9864 have you used it? I think that's more the exception than the rule. Only overheats if recording for long periods of time in 4k 120fps or 4k 60fps...but who does that? It literally never overheated on me

Or the Panasonic S5 II, latest firmware has great autofocus performance and open gate is an asset for creators imo.

For lower budget creators, I would recommend the following full frame options... 1) For Hybrid creators, I would go for Sony A7S2 with the Sony 16-25mm F2.8 G lens and/or Sony 24-50mm F2.8 lens depending on what you shoot. 2) For Video creators operating in mixed environments including low light, I recommend the Sony ZV-E1 with the Sony 20-70 F4 G lens. 3) Microphones: Depending on what you record, the DJI Mic 2 and/or the Sony ECM-M1 shotgun mic.

Yep I have same love hate with the gorilla pod. I’m on my 3rd one now but still use it all the time. I even use it with my DJI Osmo pocket 3 which may be overkill but just being able to put it anywhere is great

I have a totally different question... I'm super scared of changing lenses on my camera. How ever I do I get 3 kg dust, pine needles and tons of dog hair into my camera if I just thinking of changing lenses. Then I see you waving around with your camera without a lens on it... and you almost never have dust spots on your videos!?!? What's the magic??? / Matti and 48 huskies in Jokkmokk

For anyone reading this do not take this advice. The camera, lens and mic alone comes under $5,800 usd assuming you buy it new Hear me out get a cropped a6700 dji mic 2 and and basic zoom lens AND FOCUS ON THE CONTENT this type of video will never help new people get started and you don’t need to splurge like this when you first start

He said what gear he would buy if he didnt have camera gear not what would a beginner buy. When i was a biginner i bought cheap camera, cheap lenses and last year i had to buy new camera and new lenses. Now i have 7 lenses and i use 2 :) buy expensive gear guyz, you will regret not buying them in long run

Joby has a gorilla pod with an acra Swiss quick release. I don’t use mine anymore because I switched to mantis pod pro, but still great

Are you a hybrid shooter? If you shoot photos and videos get the A7iv. If you shoot video only buy fx30. But personally would suggest the A7iv.

I own the A7siii and A7IV. If youre not sure about going full frame- don’t. APSC won’t limit you as much as you’ll limit yourself. Get the cheaper APSC lenses before jumping into a full on car loan worth of cameras and lenses.

Depending on what you shoot, a cheaper full frame alternative is the Sony A7S2 with the new G zooms like 16-25mm F2.8 and 24-50 F2.8. That makes full frame a lot more affordable (and lighter).

@@melissaparks5947 I think the Tamron 35-150 is a better option! Amazing, incredible for street, and pretty decent for a lot of landscape, you could maybe pair it with the Sony 20 F1.8 or the 16-35 F4 PZ which is an unreal lens, punches way above its weight. Either of those combos would cost about the same price as the 16-35 GM II by itself!
