@@AxelAxe yes I'm really debating on it !! I need something to stand out a bit. One of the reasons why I like my White Canon Rebel SL3. Great video btw !
@@palmtreewhisperer thanks!!! Yeah I feel you. That’s why I have a red mamba skin on my other camera. You can always change it. Really easy to remove. I might white camo for the summer to keep it cool
Thanks for thr video. Q1: what did you used to clean the camera and lens before applying the skin Q2: bottom part, on the edges around the grip 6:06, or 6:16 (not the bottom of the camera) doesnt look to nice IMO, you can see that the skin doesnt looks as good as on the flat surfaces wrapping around grip. Were you able to made it nicer off the video?
Glad you liked it. 1-you can use some alcohol and lens wipes or a little lens cleaner fabric. 2-I’m honestly not very good with those tricky parts and I’m still learning how to apply it better. You can peel it off easily and re apply any section were you mess up. It was my bad, the skin is precise cut and fits well
Hey Lauren. I still have that army green on my canon Camera and recently I sold my other EOsR that had the red mamba and after 2 years it was starting to peel off, but I had out that camera through shooting everywhere. Dessert, Beach sand, mountains, Forrest, drag racing tracks you name it.
@@AxelAxe Thanks a lot for the quick answer 👍 It seems it's quite sturdy then. And I suppose it protects the camera from scratches as well, good for reselling ?
Thank you for sharing, it looks as bad as I thought it would look, and its not your fault. You did a good job, is just the limitations of the skin material... $79 for something that looks like that is too much.
I think it actually looks pretty good. I always get tons of compliments on this army green skin and in my opinion $80 to protect your camera and lens that costs almost $3000 is definitely worth. I have dropped the camera, shot in the desert and it was protected from scratches and had a nice grip.
