Found this by accident. I"m sick right now and want so much to sing along, but have larinigitis and can only squeak. Amazing that God created only 7 notes with their sharps and flats and then people wrote such beautiful music and allowed people to praise him with it.
I love this music and great pianists also as i am a pianist myself of 25 years. You remind me of a great pianist that played like your who taught me everything i know. She had passed away some time ago, but her music will ring through my ears for all time!i hope to play on that level one day! God bless
I haven't heard a lot of these songs for in years , I grew up hearing them in church , thanks for bringing them to the public so many can hear and Praise The Lord !God Bless each of you !
I agree. These songs fill a glorious need, and are so uplifting! Such beautiful accompaniment, such rhythm! What would be great is to have hundreds of voices joining them--all in one room. Noticed they are doing just that in the Netherlands these days. Some of these concerts are in churches that have pipe organs, so they have the glorious accompaniment of the organ, in addition to piano. Sometimes even a string quartet or flute. You can see the reception they are getting--there is a group of people who love this music!
I absolutely love replaying this and even after all this time ( 9 months) I still go back and replay it. You all were having such a wonderful time together..
I’m an old piano teacher, and I’ve taught quite a few of Glenda Austin’s pieces to my students, so I feel like I know her even though we’ve never met. I also have listened to Briley play with Natalie Raines Blanton. You guys are so marvelously talented. Thank you for using that to praise God.
Absolutely gorgeous music! The highlight for me was Glenda's playing of His Eye Is On The Sparrow. One of my favorite hymns and her rendition was off the charts beautiful! Thank you all for sharing.

Same here-I was taught only to read music and have a hard time deviating from a score-60 plus years a pianist, 50 plus years a piano teacher. Thoroughly enjoyed this video.
My mom played in church since she was 9 years old. She completed her ARCT degree from U of T Conservatory after having two boys and taught piano for 40 years. I miss her playing these hymns as well as Andraé Crouche songs on her grand piano.
