My thought exactly. 1.3 mil are Northeast/New England (i.e. NY, CT, NJ and MA) prices. I wouldn't pay 1.3 mil to live in Raleigh, when there are plenty of townhomes that you can buy for 450K. No, it won't have the latest gadgets, but you could always upgrade the home and save a ton.
