I watched this game live inside the stadium in Cape Town. The atmosphere was unbelievable, there were more Dutch people than Africans. The entire city was Orange before the game, it felt like a homecoming for the Netherlands and their long-lost Afrikaans cousins. At half time, I saw Hollywood star Djimon Hounsou with his then wife, Kimora Lee, walking hand in hand. Several fans besieged him asking incredulously "Where are the diamonds?" Hounsou had recently starred in the Hollywood hit Blood Diamonds alongside Dicaprio and folks were stunned to see him live. I was sad that Cameroon lost this game but it was a pleasant experience to attend my first World Cup game, the first of many since then.

well not if robben doesn't transfer, if he stays benched at bayern he won't be in form, and without him holland just misses and edge that is needed to win over other good teams, sure we could beat teams like denmark nex year without robben, but in the wc we will face much greater teams, such as england, france, spain, brazil, argentina. and in those games robben is needed to make the difference.
