You can tell her mom tells it like it is and isn't shy to put people in their place. Probably why Camila is the confident and kind hearted person she seems to be. Not everyone leaves a group and is welcomed with success, but mom keeping her humble with her advice must have done a lot a good for her (she didn't get too cocky or precious with her music too early). That said, they don't look alike at all lol.
