i think the whole "Shipping Vedal with every girl he talks to" is because he didn't want to become a Vtuber himself at first, so him being sucked into it and surrounded by girls sounds like a generic Harem Anime Plot where all the girls are love interests or smth wich makes the whole bit funnier. though ofc, thats only a bit and those that take it too far and become a problem are weirdge as hell.
If i had a nickel for everytime a british guy that didn't want to be a vtuber and somehow became one gets shipped with other vtubers i would have 2 nickles and that's not a lot but it's wierd that it happened twice.
Vedal is shipped with people so much because of how he interacts with many of them. Many of them look like easy anime plots, futhermore with Anny there is This whole family dynamic that made it much easier to ship them. IT is similiar to how Cdawg is shipped with Ironmouse as they have this toxic/friendly dynamic and have this romantic sick girl and guy who is her window to outside world dynamic. Also I think that it is rly good that Neuro got bound up in this family role play as this protected her from gaining close to any toxic fans. I Dont think that Anny has much problems with whole mom thing as clearly on her own stream they dont treat/think of her that way and it is only when Neuro is connected they turn to this out look. Also I think that Camilla some times missunderstands Vedal as this whole "the most famous male streamer" was clearly a joke and even he partially cringed when he said that. Vedal might actually have rly low ego and he sort of over plays it when interacting with people to not show it.

Vedal has such a monotonous/stoic way of speaking, that it becomes difficult to recognice when he trys to be funny. People who dont know you, or are just not in the mood, take you way to serious, espacily if you are usualy not that funny typ of person.

Vedal gets shipped a lot because the Anny shipping gained so much steam and they leaned into it so heavily. If you feed the shippers don't be surprised when they keep coming back and shipping everything, it is the same reason you aren't supposed to feed stray animals they will never leave. Doesn't help that so many of the other people he talks to also lean into the shipping a bit, probably cause Vedal is really easy to tease for easy content. Pretty much any male in the female vtuber space ends up dealing with heavy shipping unless they very aggressively counter the teasing attempts enough. Shoto has to deal with this a lot too.

I thought it was clear that it's only roleplay or play pretend. There are maybe a minority of people who's very invested but I doubt it's a lot. From a viewer perspective, the family thing gives off a lot of positive mood and wholesomeness. Even if I know its pretending and they're like friend / acquaintances it's still fun. Also, rather than it just straight up being fake and completely roleplay, it's more like a inside joke that doesn't stop and becomes part of the content. They're not actively trying to roleplay, they're just joking around. That's the feeling I get.

Shipping takes two to tango. Early on Anny fed the shippers with sus lead ons. Even against the turtle's stoic nature. I think it peaked with the marriage stream sub goal and after it hit, the two were like "okay, the shipping bit may have gone too far". Camila is a very strong contributor to Neuro's early rise. She gets Vedal to loosen up and is that friend that gets turtle to come out of his shell. She's every part of the family because she shows that she cares. She cares about everyone's well being. This extends beyond turtle and neuro and is why Camila is a rising star of her own. Anny contributed a lot to Neuro's looks and style, but I think Camila contributes a lot to Neuro's charm, support, and over all well being in this crazy world of show business.

I think the reason Joel doesnt get shipped is because he doesnt stick to a close nit group. Like hes everywhere with everyone. However Vedal (from what Ive seen) is simply always with Anny and well Camila. As such its like "well they are always together so they must be together" sort of mindset. Like if Joel started to do his colabs with say Tricky only for at least a whole month. Than people would start shipping them.

I think she miss understands Vedal, i fully believe that he has actually rly low ego and he just displays that as if he was over confident as sort of defense mechanism. Vedal has a very stoic nature, it takes quite a lot to bring him out of his shell (no pun intended) and hes definitely not that kind of persion, that openly shows emotions. You can see that realy well, if he finds something realy funny and has to laugh, but he still trys to "hold it in".
