I cried so hard when Cami died. She was truly the love of Klaus’s life she was the one who provided them with all the ingredients so Klaus can change for the better (Ex. Heat,fuel and oxygen) and Hope(his daughter) was the one who ignited it. Cami loved Klaus with all her heart even risking her life multiple times for him and his family. Even Klaus never got over her death his memory of her stuck with him to the end. She was truly the light of Klaus’s life other than Hope, and I still her miss her till this day
The reason her character died was because the actress was getting alot of hate for being in a relationship with Klaus. Fans were very rude to the actress, some went far enough to tell her she should get cancer. The tvd fandom can be really toxic
She’s a great character tbh but for some reason I never liked her (I mean I liked her but compared to most other characters on the show I didn’t really care about her that much) I think partly that’s because she always felt like a supporting character - without spoiling too much - it’s like her entire existence was there for other characters and not for her own story/life. I understand that shows need supporting characters especially this kinda show where it’s driven by the main character’s story, but this was kinda weird (you’ll probably understand what I’m tryna say when you watch the show) (For people who have seen the show) it’s probably why I enjoyed her character the most at the end of season 3 where for like a few episodes her story was about her
