Hahaha. You know too much!! That’s the guy on the video (just with shorts on). Wishing I had filmed a bit of us drinking my last beer or even the magnificent 🍅 event. 😂 Hope you are both well 😊
@@lupodlupi I would pack a backpack with what I need, walk with it every day to get lots of training in…..and during one of those walk, you’ll decide. There’s so much fun in sorting the backpack and trying things out too. 😊x
@@NickLivingLife The plan is to start my Camino late May 2024, but that to far away, honestly I can’t wait that long , looking into at least do 10 days in Late April 2023 or 25 days in July (to hot for my liking) I don’t want to rush but I don’t want to wait either. If I do it in April then I’ll leave from Porto and do the portugués way do to the logistics and time. Thank you so much for sharing and replying to my comments. ☺️
Hi Nick. Just wanted to pick your brains about charging my iPhone and Apple Watch (which I didn’t have when I walked the Camino in 2014!). I will get an EU fast charger, but was concerned about leaving items on charge unattended, when in the shower for example. What did you do? Thanks
I’m fairly trusting if I am in an albergue with just pilgrims (not young Spanish people getting acccomodation for a night out like I’m experiencing tonight in Leon). I have a Nitecore NB10,000 lightweight powerbank with a sticker on to identify it as mine, so if I’m worried I can just leave that on charge unattended and use that to charge my phone and Apple Watch. In a safe albergue though, I’ll actually ask a pilgrim to keep an eye on the phone for me 😊
@@NickLivingLife Thank you for the reassurance and advice Nick, most helpful and I appreciate you taking the time while on your Camino to reply. I hope you are enjoying Leon again. I’m looking forward to your next instalment.
Hi Lori, mine don’t grow fast enough to need to clip them during a Camino, but I treat myself to one or two private rooms over the course of a Camino so there is an option there. 😊 I’ve heard some people clipping in a toilet cubicle which is a lot better then them flying like bullets across all the beds 😂😂
Don’t wash your clothes in the shower! This is what leads to hot water running out for other pilgrims. Wash them in the laundry sink designed for that.
Don’t worry Carol. This is when albergues do not have laundry sinks (not all of them do) and if I do wash them in the shower, I’m wearing the clothes at the same time so it’s exactly the same amount of water as if I was having a shower naked. 😊 Otherwise I’ll use just enough water to use my Scrubba bag. Either way, I’m using less water than if I used the laundry sink anyway. We can’t be selfish pilgrims. 😊
