The first Remix on MODUS is finally here: We are happy to show you Ragemode´s interpretation of Camo & Krooked´s "No Way Out - (ft. Mira Lu Kovacs) which has been released in 2022.

“Having the opportunity to remix a Camo & Krooked song is something very special to me. That’s why I tried to make the approach for the remix kind of special as well. Having a literal masterpiece of orchestral and electronic music as the original, I tried to approach the remix the exact opposite way, by taking a distorted, destroyed, and resampled old hip-hop brass sample and building the remix around that. Trying to get something resampled and old sounding good together with modern sounds took some time but, in the end, added exactly the flavour I was looking for. Huge shout out to Markus and Reini for letting me remix their tune and to Martin (Mefjus) who´s tunes, especially his hip-hop outros, sparked the idea to use an old sample as the foundation for the remix!”
