No Way Out is the first solo release of Camo & Krooked on MODUS.
CAMO & KROOKED
With most of our tracks we usually start with a piano melody that feels like it can carry a full-length track. “No Way Out” is no exception to this method, only that between writing the full melody and creating the Drum & Bass part to it, it took us over 2 years. In that time, we got in touch with Mira Lu Kovacs - who totally understood the contrast between the deeper, more fragile tones and the loud and euphoric sounds of our instrumental and provided a beautiful bridge between these two ends.

I had a sketch of words about this type of situation where you feel intimidated by another person, while you can clearly see them struggling with themselves and their insecurities.
I am yet to learn how I can lighten moments like that by signaling my opposite that everything is going to be fine, they don’t have to prove themselves to me by showing dominance or any kinda skills. So I felt like making this song into some kind of soft attack: I got you all figured out, there is no way out. Just be yourself and let’s meet in the middle.
