To me Darius and Brooklyn had the best development that could've blossomed into a relationship. starting with the ep where they didn't really like each other and then slowly starting to become closer, I mean season 2 and 3 finale had a moment with the 2 and they had the most screen time together. I can understand kenji liking Brooklyn but Brooklyn liking kenji seemed out of no where especially considering the fact the last time there was a major interaction between the 2 before season 3 finally was the ep where kenji was trying to scare not only Brooklyn but Darius as well
Some (or majority) of the shipping fandom may not agree, but in my humble opinion, I see Darius and yas having a spark between each other. I believe if the writers put more one on one interactions between the two in season 5, I can envision it happening. Not gonna lie, I was a darylnn shipper and it was a bummer that it did t happened. But, as I rewatched every season, I saw something between the two that many others claim they don’t. Anyways, I’m glad you covered this topic!
Well, the most popular ship at the time was Darlynn, so who’s to say that the fandom opinion matters to the writers? Seems to me that the dynamic between Darius x Brooklyn was just that of platonic. Nothing this season seemed romantic between yas and Sammy (My humble opinion). More like a best friend supporting her bestie through a tough time/situation. If anything, it would’ve been a lot like kenji/Brooklyn between yaz/Sammy if they were romantically interested in each other during the yacht episode. Don’t want people to be Angry/surprised that there ship (Potentially) doesn’t sail because they can’t decipher best of friends vs romantically interested. As you stated, Sammy is physically and emotionally interactive with each and everyone of the campers.
It SHOUD have. I mean like, there’s a 2-3 year age gap between Kenji and Brooklyn. And only a 1 year age gap between Darius and her. Would have made way more sense . I saw more of a sibling dynamic between Kenji and Brooklyn and it should have stayed that way🗿

As a Kenlynn fan I'm really glad our ship happened many Darilynn and Yazji shippers say that Kenlynn came out of nowhere and that Darius deserves Brooklynn and not kenji. I find this completely ridiculous since Kenji and Brooklynn have the most in common, their pasts and I also believe that enemies to lovers is one of the most powerful types of romance. Both of them really like each other and It was really interesting watching this video getting to know about other ships. Whoever reads this, do not be afraid to support your ship. Be proud.
I personally didn’t see any form of actual shipping with kenji and Brooklyn until the end of season 3 but it is what it is, I personally think it would make more sense for Darius and Brooklyn but nothing to do but accept it
I ship brooklynn and Darius in my opinion I actually really don’t like enemies to dating.. The reasons why I’m a Darlynn shipper and don’t quite accept Kenlynn are because interactions matter a lot. Despite the developments between Kenji and Brooklynn are put into the story a lot, they don’t really act romantically throughout season 1 to 3, or even many of their interactions are too minor to be romantic enough, such as the motorcycle scene(for me, that scene was to show Kenji’s scared behaviors to make us laugh), when Sammy were taken care after poisoned. I can see Kenji liking Brooklynn, but I don’t see Brooklynn liking him back, judging from her behaviors. In comparison, Darius and Brooklynn’s interactions feel natural and genuine. We can see how they care about each other, particularly Brooklynn in season 1 and 2, such as when Darius first led the group in season 1, he was concerned, and Brooklynn was the one who stood up for him, when Darius was filled with despair in s1 ep 8, she literally repeated the whole not-to-give-up lines he delivered earlier, when Darius went to confront Tiff and Mitch, she drove a gyrosphere and hit them just to comfort and save him. In conclusion, that’s why, in season 4, I feel like Kenlynn is rushed and not natural enough. The buildups are not so persuasive because the producers started filling romantic scenes all at once in the whole season despite the fact that Kenlynn wasn’t really a thing.
Likewise, the interactions between Sammy and Yaz are built up well and consistently, which convinced me Yasammy is a good ship even though I didn’t actively support them ever.
Kenlynn do exist though but I am confused if Brooklyn like Darius or Kenij because they both have sparks between and both fighting and Brooklyn always comes and both talk like at the cave where Kenij talks to Brooklyn about Sammy so idk who Brooklyn (*actually*) likes

There were a lot of great friendship moments with all these characters with each other, but I think they should have had some more bonding moments with Darius bonding with Sammy and yaz, and while I’m happy for kenji and Brooklyn and Sammy and yaz, I thought it would be nice to see Darius and Sammy become a nice little couple since they both have the biggest hearts in the group, but hey I’m sure in another Jurassic universe Darius and Sammy are a couple who knows lol 😂 At least they both have a great friendship, I think Sammy thinks of Darius as her second best friend and when they make another animated show, I hope the nublar six return as the main characters again and are all together and we get to see Darius have more friendship bonds with Sammy and yaz
From the future 😂 (At the time of Chaos theory S2): Kenji broke up with Brooklyn and she has feelings for Darius and vice versa. Yaz cared the most for Kenji in S2 (When Kenji tried to end his life so many times) she was there to stop him she also gave him lots of hugs through out the season. Kenji was also trying his hardest to protect Yaz from the dinosaurs and was the first to notice her missing during there time at the River. Based off of this, it seams like the writers are Setting up Darius x Brooklyn and Yaz x Kenji for season 3 (Chaos Theory).

Theres a theory that says: in season 1 episode 6 who shared the same boat is gonna get together. I mean that maybe can true because the Kenji x Brooklynn is already happend. The Yas x Ben is because Yas hugged Ben for the longest when he came back, and the S4 E3 scene, and there's more just that's take to long for a comment. And the Darius x Sammy that's the most impossible to happen, but hey they are both close to animals.
Honestly I only see Ben and Darius as best friends and not a romantic relationship and I thought that Darius and Brooklynn would be a canon ship since they seemed to be the closest thing we had to a romantic relationship in the first few seasons
Okay, ill explain acouple of stuff in this coment, 1: cannon ships "Yasammy" I did not like this ship and i felt it was way better as a friend couple it was rushed and she got the feeling out of nowhere when kenlynn acually had a reason, again it was rushed and a 4th wall reason - trigger warning - The develupers only did it for the trend of lgbtq and for more money "Kenlynn" The reason alot of people said that brook and darius were gonna get together was yes brook had a crush on him, reason was that she saw darius as a leader he took control when things were wrong but in season three when kenji stood up for brooklynn she liked someone who could take control someone who could stand up for himself and she was attracted to him because of that. 2: uncanon ships "Samarius" The chemestry is good i geuss the number of interactions no. "Kenjius" No just no. "Samji" I think it'd be better if they were just friends. "Benji" Kenji likes girls not that type of girl. (Season 1 ben) "Samen" I could see sammy and ben getting ogether they are both outgoing when ben got more balls. "Yasben" It was already adressed it wasnt gonna happen. "Darilynn" Again brook did like darius but started liking kenji, it was possible. "Benlyyn" No it wouldnt work, ben is just not brook's type i say.
Also, I’m not going to deny yasammy not being possibly cannon. But, after what happened to darlynn, I’m going to remain neutral about it. I can’t lie, Sammy and yasmina has shared some very close moments together in this season that for some would strongly suggest potential romance. As for me, I see there dynamic as completely platonic (sisters/best friends). My problem is that people don’t touch upon the fact that Sammy is pretty much physically and emotionally interactive with all of the campers. As for representation, anything can pretty much go such as (what seems to be the most controversial in this fandom) Age gap relationships, followed by LGBTQ, interracial, and etc. take into account of Brooklyn mentioning “Dads”which is representation itself. Unless LGBTQ is confirmed between the campers, I’ll keep the stakes of yasammy happening neutral (50%). Of course this is just my opinion, you guys can take it how you want to.
Sammy reminds me of that friend who is emotionally supportive to everyone. (Ben saying his last goodbye to bumpy and yas nightmares) both of them being in stressful situations where Sammy comes to console them. People seem to ignore that scene when the campers were docking the boat after saying goodbye to Ben, Sammy seemed to turn around and reach her hand out all the while touching her hair looking back at Ben. Add to the fact that she burst into tears when Ben fell of the monorail and was the most determined to find him afterwards and they pretty much share the same qualities (both affectionate with friends, love animals, gone out there way to save their friends from danger this season, both have boots😂?) I’m just saying, don’t sleep on benmy.

Actually 🤓☝ the producers said that it was planned, also hinted at s3 ep6 that yasmina had romantic feelings for sammy (confirmed by her VA) looked at eachother very weirdly, and also had a lot of chemistry. In conclusion- it wasnt rushed. My brain likes looking at animation details so i could tell :3
Kenji x Brooklyn- show off type of nature/cool kids Darius x yasmina- competitive nature? (Competitive in different fields) Shady attitude (Yaz has never harbor any frustration or anger towards Darius/ always agree with his decisions). Sammy x Ben- affectionate with friends, have a love for animals, have a habit of naming Dino’s.
@@nachodragon2491 Right? She was the most desperate to get on the plane but she didn’t show any anger at all, and yas can get easily angry or frustrated with the other campers accept for Darius. She even said it was ok when darius couldn’t contact someone on the phone. I’m my opinion, a girl must REALLY like you if she doesn’t get upset with you for that.
