In this video, we continue in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, Ticino (Tessin). It was during a long weekend in February before spring had really begun and morning frost was still present in the valleys.
In part three we visited the stone house village Sonogno and walked to the Froda waterfall. On the way to Sonogno, we drove through the beautiful Verzasca Valley along the river by the same name.
Here is a little reminder, sometimes a lot of tourists, including us, visit these villages, but people actually live there, so it's mandatory to be a bit silent and respect the daily life there.
In this part of Switzerland, free camping is NOT allowed.

DANSK:

New subscribers here from Canada (me and my boyfriend). Do you travel for a living or still working and travelling on weekends and vacations? You showed your apartment in Basel in a previous video - where do you park your camper in town? Also, would be of interest for many of us a video on how you moved to Switzerland from Denmark. Are you on a work visa? A resident? Switzerland is my dream country - I lived there in 1999 for about six months :-) Keep posting, you are doing a great job in editing your videos and have a great sense of humour. Plus, you show us unusual things, off the beaten path. BTW - another nice place to go would be Leukerbad if you haven't been there yet.

Hi there, welcome, nice to see you here. Chris is still working, so our tours are mainly in long on long or short weekends and or short weekends and in most holidays. Parking a camper in Basel is difficult, so we have found a place for it half an hour from home. Regarding relocation, Chris got a job in Switzerland, so we simply moved. As EU citizens, we have no difficulties getting a residence permit. We have been in Leukerbad some years ago, before our RU-vid "life", it was beautiful, think we have a post on FB/blog about it. AND, THANK YOU so much for your kind words about our videos, that really warms our hearts. Keep watching and share the word about us. Warm regards, Chris and Lene...and Maggie.

@accsltd6978 Nope, there are in fact people living there, but not many. And it was cold, so perhaps most just stayed at home. We did see a handful, and from previous visits, we know it will be more lively when it gets warmer. And many of the houses are used for holidays. But yes, it did look empty. Thanks for watching and commenting 😍👍🏼
