This is a very very cool conversion! Just bought a 1996 hiace and cannot wait to convert it, im so excited!! thank you for sharing, definitely going to take some notes!
Great build. Doing mine, just planning now. For you cabinet build behind the seats, what is the depth of that? Trying to figure how much space you have between the front cabinets and the bed? TY so much..awesome!
Looks great guys! Planning on doing one myself soon, how did you go with covering up the windows? Just a small step by step would be great as I've got a couple windows to cover in mine
Great job - looks awesome and functional! Wondering how did you attach/screw cladding to for walls/ceiling? And what timber did you use? Looks like t&g maybe.. Cheers!
This turned out so sick!!! Just wondering though - if the engine is under the passenger seat, how will you get to it if you needed to? I just bought a 2001 Hiace to convert to a camper and questioning if I should put a cupboard behind the front seats (like you have here) as I have to lift and recline the passenger chair in order to get to the engine. Bloody awesome and love the artwork on the outside too :)
Great built..but practicality wise lots of lacking... access to the storage on possible if the doors open... And most of the things u need to do require u to get out of the van .. plus access to the driver from the rear compartment is blocked by the wall ... Not really good if you want to leave in a hurry...
Thank you. And I know this video it's quite long. But actually I created this video for my friends and my family :) I didn't expect too many followers.
